I was excited to try this new middle eastern bakery in the neighborhood. I arrived on a Sunday at 11: 10 am, expecting it to be open, but the owner didn't show up until 11: 25 am. While waiting, I ordered a coffee from the adjacent cafe. When I placed my order for a za’tar manooshe and a cheese pie, I was told it would take 15 minutes, but it ended up taking about 25-30 minutes. The owner was hospitable and apologized for the delay, but I still found the timing unacceptable 🤷🏻‍♀️. The food was good, but not amazing.
