My experience was extremely negative. I called to place an order and was left on hold for half an hour before being hung up on. This is unacceptable service.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! It's one of the best places to eat Greek food. Regarding the mentions of the blonde lady, she didn't bother me at all. This is a family restaurant with a real family history. I encourage others to give the lady a break.

I had a lot of fun last night listening to the Bonaca Croatian band perform at Taki’s Mad Greek restaurant. The food was great, the service was great, and the entertainment was wonderful!

I traveled from Loma Linda, CA, specifically to eat here, and WOW, everything was beyond delicious. It surpassed any other Greek restaurant I've visited. Besides my Yiayia's cooking, this was top-notch! I was a little disappointed that I didn't get to experience Taki and his bouzouki, but we will definitely be back. Μπράβο! Πεντανόστιμο!

My wife and I visited this Greek restaurant in Seattle hoping for a pleasant dinner, but instead, we encountered one of the most humiliating and infuriating experiences. From the moment we arrived, the owner, a middle-aged blonde woman, greeted us with noticeable coldness and irritation, making us feel unwelcome. After a ten-minute wait, she dropped menus on our table without a word. Her demeanor during our order was sharp and dismissive. Before we could even order drinks or dessert, she abruptly snatched the menus away, stating, "That's it, " and turning her back. The atmosphere became openly hostile and contemptuous. This starkly contrasted with her warm and friendly treatment of nearby white patrons. The undeniable difference in treatment based on our identity made it clear this was racism. We canceled our order and left. Her apparent pleasure at our departure confirmed this was deliberate, discriminatory behavior, not a misunderstanding. This establishment is toxic, unwelcoming, and shamefully unprofessional. I strongly advise staying away if you seek a warm, respectful, or pleasant dining experience.

While the food was decent and the service was okay initially, the trouble began when an extra $5 was added to my tab as a tip. I had already left a tip on the receipt, but my credit card was charged more than the agreed-upon amount. When I called to resolve this, the woman on the phone was rude and claimed she couldn't fix it. This forced me to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Due to this experience, I would not recommend this establishment.

My experience at this restaurant was a tale of two halves. The food was absolutely incredible, a true highlight of the meal. However, the service was unfortunately not good at all. My friend and I spent about 2 hours there, with only 30 minutes dedicated to eating and talking. The rest of the time was spent trying to get the attention of the blonde lady serving us. She never checked on us and was really rude whenever we managed to get her attention. We literally sat there for about 30 minutes just waiting for her to bring the check. While the food was genuinely good, the poor service means we're definitely not going back.

Tonight, even with the restaurant empty, the hostess was at the bar eating and paid no attention to me. On busier nights, staff still look over but then proceed to ignore me for several minutes. In contrast, other customers and drivers picking up orders are immediately greeted with excessive kindness. I receive curt responses, making me feel like a bother. Tonight, while trying to pick up a GrubHub order, the hostess cut me off mid-sentence to get the food. When she returned, the bag was tilted, and the items, including a gyro, were positioned poorly, likely ruining their presentation. This lack of care extends to their delivery orders; I consistently receive subpar order quality, leading to bad customer ratings. After five deliveries, it's clear they have a personal issue with me, and I'm suffering the consequences.
