My experience at Marjorie's was seriously cool. I arrived feeling beat, but the music, specifically El DeBarge, instantly relaxed me. The place was buzzing, which I always love, and our server, Niko, was fantastic and super attentive. I tried the pistachio hummus and plantains, which were unlike anything I've tasted before – so smooth and rich. The hush puppies were insane too; I definitely recommend getting them! The portion size was perfect for the price. While I was a little worried about parking, thankfully there was a paid lot nearby. My only small suggestion would be to ask for a little extra honey with the hummus, as a touch more sweetness would have been perfect. Seriously, go!

You should go out of your way to visit this restaurant. Every dish had that special something that took it over the top. The trio of dips for a starter, especially the beet dip, set a high bar. The Jerk chicken was cooked perfectly, was elevated, and hit the spot. The drinks and desserts were also notably good. The owner was gracious, down to earth, and just a great human. Marjorie will surprise and delight.

My experience at Marjorie’s was truly something special. The space itself is gorgeous, with exposed brick and a record player that perfectly sets the mood. It was surprisingly busy, which is always a good sign, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, even though it seemed a bit hectic. I enjoyed the hanger steak and the olive oil chocolate cake – both were incredible. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the cake was seriously addictive. My only complaint is the parking; it was a nightmare finding a spot, so plan to arrive early or be prepared to walk. I highly recommend the hush puppies – they were amazing! It's definitely worth a visit for a special meal.

My experience at Marjorie’s in Seattle was a real treat! Although it was packed when we arrived, we were seated pretty quickly. The food was fantastic – seriously delicious and beautifully presented. I got the jerk chicken and it was amazing, though perhaps a little salty as someone else mentioned. The portions were good for the price. Parking was a bit tricky, but we walked a few blocks which wasn’t bad. I’d suggest maybe a tiny bit less salt on the chocolate cake, but honestly, we loved everything!

My first dinner at Marjorie was a delightful experience. I ordered the jerk chicken and oxtail, followed by the chocolate cake. The jerk chicken was tasty, though perhaps a bit overly salty. The greens served on the side were delish, and we both really loved the oxtail and squash. Unfortunately, the chocolate cake lacked sweetness and was quite salty, which, while intended as a counterbalance, went too far. The ice cream, however, was good. The service was great; they thoughtfully poured our shared beer into two glasses. I plan on returning!

My recent dining experience in Seattle was outstanding, easily the best I've had in quite some time. My date and I thoroughly enjoyed our evening, opting to sit at the cozy bar. The pleasant ambiance was further enhanced by the music and the venue itself. Our bartender, Richard, was notably attentive and charismatic, contributing significantly to the positive atmosphere. The food was truly a highlight, exceeding our expectations. We savored the plantains, steak, and jerk chicken, and finished with bread pudding for dessert. Every single dish was absolutely delicious. We even had a celebrity sighting of Ken Jennings, who offered a smile, seeming like a great guy. I highly recommend this restaurant!

We stumbled upon Marjorie last night while searching for another restaurant. Initially, we were drawn to the Jerk Kitchen next door, but after finding it underwhelming, we returned to Marjorie and were so happy we did. The restaurant itself is well-dressed with a lovely ambiance and a sense of newness. Everything we ordered was remarkably tasty. The mixed greens were unexpected and delicious, the hush puppies and Gulf Shrimp were amazing, and the Dungeness Crab Mac & cheese was exquisite! I also enjoyed a really yummy and refreshing drink called Lemonata. The staff were bright, cheery, and wonderfully exceptional. As more people poured in, an exhilarating community environment was created. This was a wonderful gem that we discovered, and we will certainly be back again!

This is such a neat spot with amazing food and people! Our favorite dish ended up being the heirloom tomatoes. Forgot to snag a photo of it before it was gone but truly everything we ordered was beautifully presented and delicious. The service and layout of the restaurant made it a great spot to take our time and enjoy the evening!

Marjorie is an absolutely great spot to chill, whether you're catching up with a friend or having a night out with your partner. It feels more like a cool bar than a typical restaurant, but don't let that fool you—the food is truly amazing! Combine that with the awesome atmosphere, friendly service, and that very special outdoor dining space, and you have a perfect evening destination.
