Mixed Feelings About Jeepney Cap Hill
I was craving Filipino food and was super excited to try Jeepney Cap Hill. However, the prices were pretty high. Unfortunately, the lumpia was incredibly salty with barely any filling, and the Adobo was also super dry and salty.
On a positive note, the dessert - ube shortbread and turon was not bad!

Okay Experience, Great Service
My experience at the restaurant was okay. The service truly went above and beyond to fulfill my order. I ordered the Lumpia, which was just okay.
I used the walk-up window for service. Parking was a bit uncertain, appearing to be a mix of permit and paid street parking, but I wasn't sure as it was late and there was no line.

Disappointing Meal, Not Like Before
My experience on 10/7/22 was very disappointing. I was served boiled chicken over rice porridge instead of adobo, and it had no flavor at all. The rice was overcooked, resembling oatmeal.
It seems like there might be new owners, as this is nothing like the restaurant used to be. If they can't get the rice right, I question the quality of the rest of the menu. I wouldn't eat here anymore.

Disappointing Takeout Experience
I used to go here a lot for takeout, but tonight's order was not very good. Both the chicken adobo and lumpia tasted very bland. The rice in the adobo was overcooked and very mushy.
The lumpia was not wrapped well and was coming apart. I really dislike that you have to tip when you order, as I would not have tipped for this order at all.

Mixed Feelings on Food and Changes
This was a great restaurant, and for the most part, the people and the food were great. However, many people have an issue with the weird hours this place is open and the price of the food. I understand the pandemic hit hard and it's tough to run a restaurant, but there are definitely things to critique.
The food is good, but the portions are small for the price. They are also undergoing a menu change at the end of August. They changed the vegan lumpia to only have vegetables (tasted like a spring roll) and are getting rid of the adobo burger : (.
The current menu lacks any lumpia besides the new vegetable one, no dessert, and no potatoes. I thought the lumpia was a favorite? I used to visit every now and then because we love the lumpia, but I don't know how often I'll visit after the change.
Maybe it will be good though, I can update later. This place was great, sad to see a decline because of the pandemic or other issues : (. If you have the money, it's a good place to support!

Delicious Filipino Food & Awesome Service!
My experience at the restaurant was fantastic, largely thanks to the awesome service provided by Sam and Paul. They were instrumental in bringing delicious Filipino food to the neighborhood. I highly recommend trying the lumpia; you won't be disappointed!

Delicious Takeout, Fast Service
My experience with Jeepney has been consistently positive, as I get takeout from them every month. The food is always delicious, and the turnaround time on their text message system is relatively fast. I highly recommend ordering the Ube bread pudding if you want to improve your evening in one bite.

Disappointing Experience with Small Portions
As a half Filipino who drove in from Vancouver, BC, I was very excited to try this place. We had a reservation at 8 pm but didn't get inside the building until 8: 30 pm, and weren't seated at our table until 8: 45 pm. Our server, who seemed to have woken up on the wrong side of the bed, "greeted" us.
The food was very ‘ok’. The sample platter listed potatoes, but we received McCain fries, which was surprising. The chicken adobo rice bowl was tasty, but the portion sizes were VERY small.
It's unfortunate to write a bad review, but this was an unfortunate experience.

Terrible food, a complete waste of money
I would give this restaurant 0 stars if possible. The food was incredibly terrible and a complete waste of $60. 00.
We ordered a sample platter, which was burnt and gross. We also got two rice meat dishes. They were advertised as fried rice, but they were not.
There were no vegetables and very little meat. I felt like I was robbed on Capital Hill!

Delicious Lumpia, But Pricey
My experience at this restaurant involved trying their pork lumpia, which were delicious and came with a tangy soy sauce. However, I found the portion size to be quite small for the price, with only 3 rolls cut in half for $9. This made it feel not worth the cost.
