My experience at the restaurant was marked by inconsistency. I wish they would be consistent on selling the broth whenever. Today I was told we don’t offer that. 🤦🏼‍♂️

I have an absolutely fantastic experience here almost every week, sometimes even twice a week! The food is absolutely delicious, and the service is always fantastic. Everyone is always greeted on entry, and the atmosphere is very inviting!

This was my second time bringing my mom and sister for lunch here, and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We ordered two fried rice dishes, sweet and sour pork, and beef chow mein, all of which were delicious. The Sweet Sour Soup was also a highlight. The atmosphere and service were both rated a 4 out of 5, and the food quality was also excellent, earning a 4 out of 5. While parking was somewhat difficult to find, the free parking lot was available. The wait time was non-existent, and the price per person was between $20–30.

My experience at the restaurant was fantastic! The customer service was really great, and the food was super tasty. I also appreciated that you get a decent amount of food. I particularly loved the chicken curry and plan to try it spicier next time. Overall, a very satisfying dining experience.

Lucky Chinese is not an establishment you're apt to come across, but if you're willing, their offerings are certainly worth the effort. You won't find typical "Szechuan" or "Cantonese" dishes, but you will find something that appeals to you. Despite a modest menu, ASK for what YOU enjoy, and they will guide you to an equivalent offering. Be aware that spice (hot) is subjective; a "2 star" rating here might be closer to a 3 or even a 4. Of particular interest, a soup is included with an "entree", which is normally an additional order. The portions were generous, and a request for Shrimp Chow Fun (not on the menu) was readily accommodated. That dish was bursting with flavor and reason enough to return. A hearty full meal for two was purchased for less than HALF of what other establishments would have charged, but your experience may vary. There is limited parking, ample seating (take-away seemed the preferred choice), and again, the location is obscure (use your favorite GPS). If you are a West Seattle resident, this may be the very establishment we have all been waiting for. Bon Appetit!

I wanted to try this place and called ahead. Upon arrival, I discovered they were closed from 8/20-8/26. It would have been helpful if they had updated their hours or left a message on their voicemail to inform customers.

Since the Red House closed, I’ve searched for Chinese food and have had no luck. Then I saw this place and OH YEAH! It's my new favorite place for Chinese food. I just wish they could do an egg roll, but still, they do okay.
