Ugly Mug Cafe: Best White Mocha!
Recently, I moved to Seattle and have been looking for a local coffee shop that is both good and cheap: Ugly Mug Cafe. While I have not tried their food—pastries, muffins, and other baked goods—I can attest to the coffee! The white mocha is probably the best one that I have had so far :) I went with a friend, that’s visiting me, a few days ago and she got something else but said it was the best one since visiting Seattle.
I love the tackiness of the decorations and environment, if that makes sense. The price is so so good for the quality of what you get, I love this place!

Cozy spot with great coffee & food
My experience at this restaurant was very positive. It's a cozy place with truly great coffee. The atmosphere feels rustic, warm, inviting, and productive, making it a great spot for students or those of us who work from home and need a change of space.
The mochas are delicious and the rosemary turkey croissant is great too.

Disappointing Drink and Service
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing, primarily due to the Bananacream Hojicha drink and the service I received. While I had high hopes, the Bananacream part of the drink was good, but the hojicha tasted bad and was super gritty. The smallest 8oz size cost around $8 after tip, which felt expensive for the quality.
To make matters worse, the staff member who gave me the drink completely ignored me when I said thank you. As a fellow service worker, I understand not expecting cheerfulness, but being outright ignored is not acceptable. She turned around and continued talking to a friend/customer, which was strange.
I'm giving 4 stars because I generally love this place, but the drink and service today were a bummer.

Delicious Avocado Toast, Coffee Needs Work
My experience at the restaurant was mixed. I found the avocado toast to be delicious. However, the cappuccino was more like a latte and was huge.
The environment is nice, though it seems to be consistently full.

Charming Cafe with Delicious Egg Croissant
My experience at this cute little place was wonderful. The seating and atmosphere style were described as fanciful, endearing, charming, and quaint, creating a homey feel reminiscent of a small-town café. The food and coffee were good, and I personally recommend the egg croissant sandwich.
It was a bit different from what I'm used to, but I loved the way the fresh tomato pulled the savory, fluffy croissant and filling eggs as well as cheese together. It fulfills my dreams of a dark academia aesthetic life.

Great Coffee, Limited Space
My experience at this cafe was a mixed bag. The coffee tasted great, and the staff were friendly. The prices were good too.
However, it's not recommended for families as it's a small cafe with limited seating. It's also not accessible friendly due to a few steps. There's no parking nearby, and it seems to mostly service the university next door.

Cozy Spot with Tasty Coffee
My experience at this restaurant was quite pleasant. I enjoyed the tasty coffee and the cozy environment. While the prices are high, they are not prohibitive.
It's a nice spot to cozy up with a warm drink and escape the rain.

Perfect Coffee and Pastry Spot
My experience at this coffee place was excellent. It offers shared outdoor seating by the street, which is a nice touch. I enjoyed both the iced matcha and the coffee latte, finding them very tasty.
The spinach and cheese pastry was also yummy. The service and atmosphere were top-notch, rated 5/5.
