My experience at Charlie's was fantastic! I enjoyed their great coffee, great sandwiches, and great chai. What truly made my visit special, however, was the warm and friendly atmosphere created by Charlie and the entire staff. They genuinely make my day better.

My experience at this restaurant was marked by delightful vibes and decent coffee. The atmosphere was a 5 out of 5, and the noise level was quiet, making it easy to talk. The service also received a 5 out of 5. However, the bagel was a big miss that I would not recommend. Overall, I'd suggest going for the coffee and the people.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I had a Great Falafel wrap which was so satisfying that it set me up for the entire day. The spot itself is great, and the people working there are very nice. Overall, a very positive experience.

My experience at this restaurant was very positive. The people were nice, and the salad with tuna was so wholesome that I could easily make eating here a habit, and it would be a good thing. The service and food were rated a 5, and the atmosphere was also rated a 5. Vegetarian dishes are clearly labeled. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible with no steps, and tables and chairs can be rearranged. The price per person is between $10–20. It's a good spot for lunch.

My experience at Charlie's Cafe was outstanding, marked by both great food and even better people. This family-run establishment is truly the heart of the community. The owners know every regular by name and engage in meaningful conversations, often with their son or other family members. They've gone above and beyond to help me out of a bind, like when the laundry mat next door had a broken coin machine or took my money. This morning, after the coin machine issue, they not only gave me cash back (which they don't formally offer) but the woman working there even walked my sandwich over to me in the next building! These small acts of kindness truly turned a bad day around.

My experience at this charming neighborhood café in San Francisco was delightful! The home-made, tasty food, with some vegan options available, was served in a cozy and familiar atmosphere. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and were treated to live music, which added a wonderful ambiance. Charlie, the host, was great and very welcoming. He even went the extra mile by lending us an umbrella for our Mission murals tour, which starts at the café – another excellent recommendation! The service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was incredibly inviting.

This is a great place if you enjoy restaurants with character. Unfortunately, the bagel breakfast sandwich was just okay. The bacon was extremely thin, and the cheese seemed like low-end cheddar cheese you'd buy at a supermarket. The bagel itself was alright, nothing special. However, the owner is super kind and helpful.

We were so delighted to stumble across this gem. Charlie was so warm and welcoming and made us feel like we were old friends coming in for a visit. He was so attentive to our three-year-old and made her feel so comfortable. We had the Mediterranean Platter and it felt like getting a home cooked meal - it was delicious and clearly made with love. We'll definitely come by again the next time we're in that part of town.

My experience at this great little neighborhood cafe was positive. The menu is slightly limited, but this actually made it quick and easy to decide what to have! :)
