Exceptional Service from Autumn and Esther!
My experience at this restaurant was an absolute joy, largely due to the sweetest young ladies, Autumn and Esther. They took great pride in their work, were incredibly respectful and cheery. They also made great suggestions for the menu items.
I truly enjoyed talking with them, and they made my entire experience wonderful.

Exceptional Experience with Special Touches
Esther truly made our experience special; she's a ray of sunshine and we enjoyed chatting with her. Autumn crafted such tasty drinks, and the food was delicious! The flatbread was crisp and delicious, and the tenders were in a league of their own.
We loved the vibe and the attention to detail. It was my best friend's birthday, and the personal touch of the balloons and bubbly in her room was a lovely surprise. Overall, there’s no place we would rather stay.
However, please bring back the old pineapple cookies. Thanks! :)

Fantastic Food, Service, and Location!
I stopped in for a bite to eat and some cocktails before attending a PNB performance at McCaw Hall. The atmosphere was light and cozy, located right off the hotel lobby of The Maxwell Hotel. It lacked specific fancy theming but was comfortable and very clean.
The location is great, within a block of the Mercer Street parking garage and a very short walk to McCaw Hall, the Space Needle, and other Seattle Center activities. The service was spot-on – prompt, friendly, and attentive. The food was fantastic and our cocktails were phenomenal.
Pricing was very reasonable for what you get. We will make an effort to come back here next time we are in the area, and this experience made us want to look into staying at The Maxwell Hotel next time we are wanting to stay overnight in Seattle. Highly recommended.

Fun Drinks and Welcoming Staff!
We had so much fun here with their friendly staff and great drinks. Specifically Esther, Autumn, and Walker were so welcoming. Esther even remembered us from a previous trip.
We stay at the Maxwell Hotel because our cat is welcome, and it's so nice to have a drink downstairs knowing our cat is comfortable upstairs. We will keep coming back for the great staff and fun drinks. Cheers!

Disappointing Food, Lovely Waitress
My experience at this restaurant was largely disappointing, particularly regarding the food. We started with the nachos, which were quite bare bones, consisting only of chips, cheese, green onions, and jalapeño slices. Unfortunately, all the toppings were concentrated on the top layer.
For my main course, I ordered the chicken and Brie sandwich with pesto. The chicken was unseasoned, and the toasted bread was greasy. The accompanying fries were bland.
My husband's garlic fries were also under-seasoned, lacking any discernible garlic flavor and just topped with green onions. The only highlight of our meal was our lovely waitress, Olivia, who provided excellent service.

Sweet Drinks Ruined a Good Experience
My experience at this restaurant was mixed. The service was great, and the atmosphere is ok. However, the drinks were very gross.
My husband and I ordered a total of 4 different drinks, and they all were way too sweet. It was very disappointing as the reviews are high for here.

Wonderful Service and Delicious Food at The Maxwell
During a wonderful stay with family at The Maxwell Hotel, I received the most sincere and wonderful service from Esther at the Bistro & Bar 🥹 Her kindness and generosity turned my day around and I'm still so grateful for my meal there, almost a month later. All of the staff in this area and the front desk excelled at their roles and customer service. Oh, and the pineapple cocktail and chicken pesto sandwich were delicious and made with love.
For hotel guests, it's a fun time exchanging your drink token and it's also a good spot for locals to grab a drink and quality meal.

Peaceful Ambiance, Tasty Food, and Great Decor
My Sunday night experience was wonderfully peaceful and quiet. The ambiance was enhanced by a gentleman playing the piano in the next room, making it even more relaxing. The staff was incredibly friendly and made me feel very welcomed.
While the menu wasn't extensive, the food was very tasty. The decor is absolutely to die for, especially the pervasive pineapple motif that extended to the food and drinks menu.

Great Service and Comfortable Atmosphere
My experience at the restaurant was very positive. Our server, Esther, did a great job. She was upbeat and warm despite the number of customers she had to attend to.
I also appreciated the spacing of the tables; even though it was busy, it didn't feel crowded. The restaurant offered a good beverage selection.
