Good Value Chicken
My experience at the restaurant was centered around trying their chicken, which I found to be good for less than $5. I specifically asked for a side of chicken, noting it was basically the cheapest option available. The chicken was seasoned and deep-fried, which I understand might not be everyone's preference.
However, for not having eaten yet that day, this was a satisfying choice.

Great Bulgogi Rice Bowl Deal
My experience at this restaurant was positive, especially with the bulgogi rice bowl. For $12, it tasted good and looked appetizing. The rice in the bowl was also very good.
I found it to be a better deal compared to other options in this food court.

Best Gimbap Ever!
My experience was hands down the best gimbap I’ve ever had. It came super close to the ones I've had in Japan. The store is located in H Mart, which was my first time visiting, and it was amazing.
The service was super quick. The rolls were made with love for sure.

Good food, limited options
My experience at the restaurant was generally positive. The food was pretty good, although there were limited selections. I found the rose topokki to be a little too hot, but I still loved the taste.
The kimbap was also good. I appreciated that the food court has a lot of tables, which made for a comfortable dining experience.

Rough Experience with Undercooked Food
I don't typically care enough to leave negative reviews on restaurants, but this one was rough. The whole staff seems to be undertrained. I ordered just a chicken teriyaki rice bowl.
40 minutes later, I finally received a soggy little handful of chicken pellets and watered down rice.

Tteokbokki Perfection, Minor Side Dish Woes
My experience at this restaurant was largely fantastic, primarily due to their exceptional Tteokbokki. It's so good that it makes me question if San Diego has any other specialist spots that can compete with this international juggernaut. The pricing is also quite reasonable.
Many older patrons have mentioned that the flavors evoke memories of their childhood, and I find it hard to disagree. My only gripe is that the execution of side dishes, like the gimbap or blood sausage, isn't always as consistent as it could be. Despite this minor inconsistency with the sides, it remains our go-to spot any day!

Excellent Teokbokki and Drinks
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic, especially for teokbokki. I believe it's one of the best teokbokki in San Diego. I highly recommend getting the shikhae slush and skipping the jaws slushy.
It's a good idea to share one teokbokki and then load up on the fried sets.

Delicious Teppoki & Fries, Reminds Me of Home!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic, especially with the Teppoki and fries, which were absolutely delicious! They brought back fond memories of my hometown, Busan, South Korea. I definitely recommend it 👌.

Reliable Gimbap and Tteok-bokki Spot
This is one of our go-to places for comfort food, specifically for their good gimbap (we usually order the Bulgogi and tuna) and tteok-bokki with a mild spice level. The restaurant is conveniently located inside H-mart and generally has decent wait times. The food and service both received a perfect score of 5, and the atmosphere was rated a 4.
