I visited towards the end of the evening after a Car Show. While I understand staff might be tired, it wasn't busy when I arrived. Unfortunately, this doesn't excuse the service I received. I sat outside and waited for waitstaff who never came. I went inside for a menu and waited again. I then returned outside to decide on my order, but it seemed I was forgotten, as I had to go back inside to order food and drink at the bar. About fifteen to twenty minutes later, the bartender informed me he forgot my order. To add to the experience, even after finishing my meal, I had to seek out staff to pay my bill. I was almost surprised they didn't ask me to bus my own dishes. In summary, the service was painfully sub-par. Regarding the food, it was acceptable. However, the gumbo was topped with a three-pepper salsa that made the dish excessively spicy rather than complementing its flavors. It was borderline inedible, especially for someone who dislikes spicy food. The salad was good, but that's expected for a salad. I've heard other items are tasty, but I cannot personally vouch for them. I might consider returning, but the service left much to be desired, so we will see.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic. The Reuben sandwich was incredibly good, with the bread grilled to perfection, making it taste so good it felt unhealthy. The staff was friendly, and they consistently have Ruebens Porter on tap. I eat here all the time.

We shared a lamb burger and it was done perfectly. It came with a delicious side salad. The neighborhood location is nice. However, there is no off-street parking and it can be somewhat difficult to find parking.
