Delicious Food, Old School Charm
I started eating immediately because I couldn’t wait! The pictures show the food missing a few bites! Haha!
Delicious! The sautéed spicy pork belly was rich and perfect with rice. The cold noodles were chewy and tasty.
The old school decor felt just right, nothing flashy. The food spoke for itself. I think the server is also the proprietor.
They were friendly and asked if we needed to replenish our banchai. I will be back.

Awful Service, Will Not Return
I visited this place with two friends, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The server was incredibly rude. Here are some examples of what happened.
When our food arrived, she placed the dishes in front of my friends but set mine down at the far end of the table, completely out of my reach. One of my friends had to pass it to me. Later, she asked my friend if she wanted a box for her leftovers but didn’t ask me even though I also had food left.
When I tried to ask for a box, she initially turned away as I was speaking. Although she did eventually respond, she seemed visibly annoyed by the request. When she returned with the box, she handed it to me with her head completely turned away in the other direction to not look at me.
I will not be returning. No one deserves to be treated like this.

Delicious Korean Food & Warm Hospitality
Thank you! We came to San Francisco with our family of three and enjoyed the delicious side dishes and food. We even received complimentary dumplings.
We felt the warmth of Korean hospitality and wanted to leave a review. Stay healthy!

Authentic Korean Flavors in SF
As a Korean born and raised in Seoul, I found the dishes of this place to be the most authentic Korean in SF. Other upscale Korean restaurants in SF, like San Ho Won and Ban Sang, tend to be either ridiculously overpriced or only Korean-inspired rather than being truly Korean. This place, though not necessarily fancy, reminds me of the Korean dishes as I know them.
The food was excellent, and the service and atmosphere were top-notch, both receiving a perfect score.

Best Stir Fried Beef Intestines in South Bay!
My primary reason for visiting this restaurant is their exceptional stir fried beef intestines with veggies. While everything else we tried was also good, I haven't found a place in the South Bay that prepares this specific dish better. The food here is excellent, and the service and atmosphere were both top-notch, receiving perfect scores of 5.
It was a quiet and pleasant dining experience, making it easy to converse.

Excellent Korean BBQ, Must-Try Naengmyon
My experience at this Korean barbecue restaurant was very good. The banchan was on point, and it's clear that people come here specifically for the Naengmyon. Upon being seated, a server approached the table, and it was evident they expected us to be familiar with the dining process.
However, this was not an issue as the food was quite good. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area, but I would even make a special trip if I were craving Naengmyon.

Delicious Korean Gem in SF
Muguboka is a small Korean restaurant that served clean-tasting and truly delicious food. It was the best restaurant I visited during my trip to San Francisco. Despite a wait for a table during a crowded lunchtime, it was definitely worth the wait.
The food also came out quickly after ordering. I highly recommend eating at this place if you visit San Francisco. Parking was a bit challenging due to its location in a tourist-heavy area.

Best Casual Korean Food in SF!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I found it to be the best casual Korean food in SF. What made it even better was the exceptional service; they generously provided two extra dishes on the house that I had been considering ordering.
It felt like they intuitively knew what I wanted!

Korean Delights with a Sweet Pork Hiccup
My experience at this restaurant offered a large menu with less common Korean dishes like intestines. The mains were generous, coming with lots of side dishes. I particularly enjoyed the free soup they provided, which was packed with tofu.
However, one critique is that the pork was artificially colored and tasted too sweet.

Rude Service Ruined Family Meal
Our family, including our newborn, visited the restaurant recently hoping for a nice meal. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by extremely rude service. We anticipated understanding and warmth, but were met with cold indifference from the staff.
Requests for accommodations were dismissed harshly, making us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. While the ambiance and food might have potential, the service left a lasting negative impression. Dining out with a young child is challenging enough without facing rudeness.
We hope the management addresses these issues for future customers. Sadly, we won’t be returning.
