During a busy lunch time, the restaurant served everyone efficiently and politely. I was surprised by the good selection of hot food, with them making lots of items. You can choose to eat inside or get your food to go. I did both and grabbed a Reuben for the road. My Americano wasn't hot enough, but I missed my name being called, so that's on me. Regulars seem to know the drill and stand up front to wait. It's super convenient if you are at UWMC Harborview. I will go again.

My experience at this restaurant was outstanding! The staff were incredibly friendly and you can tell they really care about their customers. The food was also amazing. Everything tasted so fresh and made with love. The sandwiches were packed with flavor and perfectly balanced. I particularly enjoyed the chicken curry katsu, which was absolutely amazing – perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

If there was an award for best neighborhood spot, this is it. The staff were happy and friendly, and the service was fast and excellent. It's a mystery how they made a bagel with lox and cream cheese so delicious, but it was fantastic. My Americano was great too. Another customer was having a breakfast burrito that she said was excellent. I can't recommend enough!

My experience at this restaurant was very positive. The morning worker was incredibly nice and knowledgeable about the food and drinks, making a really good almond milk latte. I also enjoyed the sausage, egg, and cheese croissant breakfast sandwich. The shop offers a ton of variety, from freshly-made items to bottles of wine, and a range of drinks from healthy to sugary. It's a good place for anyone at a reasonable price. I'll definitely be back.

I visit the Metropolitan Café almost daily for lunch as I work nearby on First Hill, and it's consistently great. They offer a fantastic hot food bar, priced by weight, alongside a full made-to-order menu featuring sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, and burritos. Additionally, they stock a wide array of convenience items like drinks, protein shakes, frozen foods, and snacks, making it a true one-stop spot. The staff are consistently kind, welcoming, and remember faces, which adds a personal touch to every visit. These very sweet guys truly take great care of their customers. While not for everyone, it's worth noting they even carry nicotine products, which is incredibly convenient for those who need them. I 100% recommend this place!

What truly elevates the experience are the staff, Jeff and Peter, who greet me with the biggest smiles ever every single time I come in. The vibes are simply immaculate.

I loved my experience here! It’s a simple stop and shop with a great selection of food, offering everything from teriyaki and noodles to rice, club sandwiches, and a huge drink menu. The staff were all super friendly, contributing to a great atmosphere. It's a great spot for a quick bite. A fantastic deal is their half off leftover food from the hot bar after 2: 30 PM. Plus, they are dog friendly!

My experience at this restaurant was positive, largely due to the wonderful attentive staff who were very polite and kind to all customers. The bulgogi was decent, and I was also impressed by the grocery selection for its size.

I wanted to try a new place near Harborview Medical Center. My experience was disappointing. I returned my sandwich because they tried to pass off processed cheese food in place of cheddar. My sister said her sandwich did not taste like Boars Head Brand meat, nor was it cheddar cheese as advertised. I got a refund. I'll never go back; I'd rather eat at the hospital.
