Excellent Chinese Food Gem
This restaurant is a true hidden gem and one of the top places for Chinese food in the city. I was particularly impressed with the Cantonese dishes. My experience included enjoying the rice roll and the beef stew, both of which were excellent.
The food, service, and atmosphere all received a perfect 5/5 rating, making for a highly enjoyable lunch experience. The price per person was reasonable, falling between $20–30.

Authentic Cantonese Noodles & Warm Service
My experience at this restaurant was largely positive, centered around their incredibly authentic Cantonese noodles and wontons. The owners are exceptionally kind and speak Cantonese, even offering my child a free pastry when she was restless. They are consistently friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with requests like napkins.
It's evident they prioritize serving fresh, high-quality food. I did notice that takeout isn't quite as good as dining in, as the noodles can become soft during transport, so I recommend eating there for the best experience. The only drawback was a strong cleaning wipe smell inside.
Despite this, it remains a welcoming, hardworking, family-run spot that I enjoy returning to for comforting Cantonese noodles.

Snarky Service, Never Again!
My experience at this restaurant was incredibly disappointing due to the terrible service. The waiter/owner made a snarky comment, stating, “I don’t care if you eat with your hands or your feet, if you didn’t order chopsticks on Uber app I can’t give you any! ” This attitude was unacceptable.
I will never return. 😤

Cozy Childhood Memory with Amazing Lava Toast
This place is a legit trip down memory lane, bringing back my little childhood memories. It doesn't need to be fancy; it's just cozy, and you can tell everything is made to order and fresh. Last but not least, that lava evil toast is something you won't want to miss!
Hehe ;)

Disappointing To-Go Experience
My experience ordering to-go was disappointing. I ordered the brisket over noodles and received very little meat, just two tiny pieces of beef and some chewy tendon. The noodles were overcooked, practically melted, even though I ate them immediately after picking up.
This place used to be great.

Delicious Late-Night Eats!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I particularly enjoyed the food, especially the salt and pepper tofu and green onion pancakes. The homemade chili oil was incredibly tasty, and I was pleased to learn you can buy a jar to take home.
The fact that they are open late is also very convenient. I'll definitely be coming back to try more things.

Flavorful and Cost-Effective Gem!
I found this gem after Outside Lands and was blown away by how flavorful and cost-effective this was! The food came out super quickly and the staff was nice. The red bean tea is refreshing and I wish I could've eaten 10 bowls of the curry noodles.
The rice roll bowl was a bit too much rice roll, but I loved the 油条, which tasted more like sweet fries 馒头 instead of an actual 油条.

Great Value Wonton Noodle Soup
My experience at the restaurant was a great value. I ordered the HK wonton noodle soup, which was incredibly filling and perfect for a midnight treat. The food was rated a 5/5, and the atmosphere was also a 5/5.
The price per person was between $10–20, and there was no wait time.

A Must-Try Hidden Gem!
What an absolute hidden gem! We LOVE Noodle Stop. Their beef brisket rice noodle soup is hands down one of the best in the Bay Area – it features a rich, flavorful broth, tender beef, and perfectly cooked noodles.
It hits the spot every single time. My kids beg to come here, and even though we live all the way in South San Francisco, it’s always worth the trip. While they have a huge menu full of tempting dishes, we can’t risk not getting our favorite.
Every visit, it’s the same routine: “4 bowls of beef brisket rice noodle soup, please! ” 😄 One of these days we’ll branch out because everything else looks so good too. The food is amazingly consistent – same great taste every time.
The staff is super friendly, and the owner is just wonderful. We have severe nut allergies in our family, and I once shared this with them. They told me they used to use peanut oil in their hot sauce, but after hearing our story, the owner personally assured me they stopped using it altogether.
That level of care and thoughtfulness really stuck with us – it shows they truly value their customers. Get their hot spicy oil! They give you some for the table and every month or so we get a bottle to go for home!
It’s been great seeing business pick up for them since they’re still fairly new. Part of me is so happy more people are discovering this local gem, but part of me worries it’ll be harder to get a table in the future! If you haven’t been, go now – you won’t regret it.
Just don’t take my table! 😉
