Worth the Wait at Roli Roti
My experience at Roli Roti, a famous stand in the San Francisco Ferry Building Farmers Market, was absolutely worth the wait. I was curious due to the consistently long line, and it did not disappoint. The rotisserie porchetta was a standout, perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.
It paired wonderfully with the arugula. I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly the staff were, and they served everything quickly. It's important to note that this is a cashless stand, so card payment is the only option.

Undercooked Chicken at Farmer's Market
My experience at the Farmer's Market on California Avenue on Sunday, October 12th, was disappointing. I purchased their whole chicken, but unfortunately, it was NOT cooked through 😖. The breast meat was noticeably pinkish and difficult to chew.
Considering the cost, which was three times that of a Costco rotisserie chicken, the quality was unacceptable.

Amazing Porchetta and Cool Staff!
We hustled to get there before closing and managed to snag the last two porchetta sandwiches, along with new potatoes and brussels sprouts. The experience was amazing! The food was great, and the staff was super cool and clearly proud of their product.

Disappointing Roti Sandwich Experience
My third trip to the city specifically for a Roti sandwich was a letdown. After spending over $18 for a sandwich, we were dismayed to find ourselves eating mouthfuls of fat. This experience was far from what I expected, especially given the travel and cost involved.

Delicious Porchetta, But Lacking Flavor Depth
We've been wanting to check out this spot since seeing it featured on food shows. We visited on a Saturday morning, arriving around 10 AM and ordering by 10: 30 AM. While the chicken and ribs weren't ready, we were focused on the Porchetta sandwiches.
The pork itself was absolutely delicious – incredibly tender with some nice crispy bits, definitely the highlight. The bread was also super fresh, and the onion jam was really good. However, the arugula was half yellow and super wilted from the heat, indicating it needs to be eaten right away.
It also needed something acidic, like pickled onions and something spicy, to enhance the flavors. Despite these points, we're glad we tried it. For $15, though, I was expecting more robust flavors.
Next time, we'd like to try the chicken, ribs, and potatoes.

Over-rated Sandwich, Average Experience
My experience was largely defined by a sandwich that was right up there with the most over-rated I've ever had. It was flavorless and seriously lacking any seasoning at all. I felt it would do well with a sage mayo or aioli, or literally anything to enhance its taste.
While the potatoes were solid, the sandwich itself was highly average. Given the plethora of other choices around, this was a disappointing culinary experience.

Delicious Sandwiches, Worth the Wait
My experience at this restaurant was great! I had a well-made sandwich with a good price. They were generous with the meat, and the pork was juicy, featuring a nice balance of lean, fatty, and crispy parts.
The caramelized onions were amazing, though a bit overpowering. Although the line is typically long, it moves very quickly; I only waited about 10 minutes on a Saturday at noon. It's great stuff and well worth a try!

Heavenly Porchette Sandwich Worth the Wait!
My experience at the restaurant was fantastic, especially the Porchette Sandwich, which was worth every penny! The 30+ minute wait was 💯 worth it. My husband knows how much I love pork, and he nailed it when ordering me this heavenly dish.
The combination of arugula and onion marmalade put it over the top, and the crispy pork pieces were perfection. I wish I could attach the picture here. Don’t skip this when in the area.

All Hype, No Flavor
I’m sorry but this was all hype. The sandwiches had no flavor, super bland. It was not worth the time it took to get the food or the price.

Disappointing Food Quality
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The sandwich lacked flavor, and the potatoes were old and dried out. It used to be much better here.
