Delicious sandwiches, filling portions!
My experience at the restaurant was great! I tried the egg salad sandwich and the chicken katsu sandwich, and both were super good. One whole sandwich was plenty filling for me!

Skip the coffee, food might be good
I know you don’t come here for the coffee, but they sell Ritual coffee at the usual $5 price point you would expect at a coffee shop. However, it’s just the coffee grinds brewed in a coffee pot. Honestly, it tasted like gas station coffee, not what you would expect for a cup of Ritual coffee, and especially at that price point.
I’m sure the food is good, but skip the coffee. I am a very sad coffee drinker right now 😂

Hidden Gem with Artisanal Sandwiches
I revisited this restaurant after a few years, craving a milk bread sando. Today, I enjoyed the egg salad sandwich, and my boyfriend had the chicken katsu. Both were 10/10 in terms of bread and flavor!
This is a family business with incredibly kind people. I was surprised it wasn't busier; it's truly a hidden gem. While some complain about the prices, this is San Francisco, and they are serving artisanal quality sandwiches.
I will definitely return next time I'm in the area.

Delicious Katsu Sando Gem!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I discovered this cute little hole in the wall during my visit to SF and it truly is a hidden gem. I was thoroughly impressed and can only say 'wow'.
The chicken katsu sando was absolutely DELICIOUS, and the staff were very kind. This place is definitely worth going to, and I will happily be back again. Thank you!

A Delicious Breath of Fresh Air!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! It's a welcome change from the many expensive and mediocre options in the city. I ordered the Tonkatsu Sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious – the kind of meal that makes you close your eyes and sigh.
It truly made my afternoon. Thanks, y'all!

Disappointing Matcha, Pricey but Decent Choux Sando
I ordered an Uber Eats pickup and was disappointed with my experience. I would advise against getting the matcha. I tried the $8 Oreo Matcha with cheese foam, and it was quite bitter as no sweetener was applied.
The choux sando was good, but I found it to be expensive at $15. For a similar, though still pricey, experience, I'd suggest Tadaima in the Mission, which is actually cheaper than this place.

Worth the Splurge for Truffle Lovers
While the price is certainly high, the experience at this restaurant is absolutely worth it. Don't be a penny pincher; indulge in some luxury! It's an opportunity to experience the unique combination of black truffle and gold.
I've tried all the sandwiches, and they are consistently great. I'm surprised to see a review score below 4. 6, which might be a localized issue.
Honestly, the sandwiches are very, very good.

Delicious Katsu, Limited Seating
My experience was centered around the delicious chicken katsu sandwich, which featured very soft bread. It's worth noting that the place doesn’t have seating, though there’s a counter available to stand and eat.

Delicious Japanese Egg Sandwich!
Initially, I was skeptical due to some reviews, but my craving for a Japanese egg sandwich led me to try this place. The sandwich was absolutely delicious, and the lady serving was very nice and sweet. I will definitely come again.

Expensive, No Amenities, Poor Value
My experience was that for $23 out the door, I received a small pork sandwich and generic coffee. There were no restroom facilities, no seats for customers, and absolutely no Wi-Fi. Even the Lung Fung Bakery on the next block, which is significantly cheaper, offers multiple seating areas and allows customers to use their restroom.
