Beautiful Place, Terrible Food
My experience at this restaurant was a tale of two halves. First off, our waiter was amazing and the service was great. The place itself is beautiful and the decorations are beautiful.
However, the food here is TERRIBLE. We got the large dip platter as a starter, I got the lamb shawarma, and my partner got the vegan kofta. None of the 3 plates tasted good, not a single thing on them.
The grape leaves tasted off, the hummus tasted more like soft garlic sauce, and worst was the lamb platter. I took a bite and immediately regretted it. It’s been a long time since I’ve gone somewhere where I was unable to go past the first bite of food.
The rice was soft and the soft strips of lamb were unseasoned pieces of fat that melted into your mouth and into the soft unsavory rice. Food should be the most important aspect of a restaurant, so although everything else was great, I could never imagine coming here again.

I indulged in the Trio dessert, featuring baklava, chocolate mousse, and a mindblowing pistachio creme that I couldn't even name after tasting. It was so incredibly delicious and refreshing! The restaurant itself is small but cozy, with decor that feels like art.
