Hungry after a $17 to-go order
My experience at the restaurant was disappointing. I can’t justify ordering to go again. It's frustrating that a significant portion of my $17 order was salad, which I don't even enjoy.
I'm still hungry mannn.

Perfectly Cooked Crispy Chicken Bowl
My experience at the restaurant was fantastic! I had the crispy chicken bowl, which was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The sauce and condiments were also wonderful.
The atmosphere and service were rated a perfect 5, and the food also received a 5-star rating. Parking was plentiful, and there was no wait time.

Mixed Experience with Koja Temperature
My experience involved ordering a chicken koja, a beef koja, crispy rolls, and soup. Unfortunately, both the chicken and beef koja were served at a temperature that was neither hot nor cold, falling into the food safety danger zone. Given a recent bout of severe food poisoning, I was unwilling to risk eating them without reheating.
On a positive note, the crispy rolls and soup were both hot and delicious.

Friendly owner, delicious and unique Koja!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The owner was incredibly friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. I particularly enjoyed the Koja, which was a unique dish unlike anything I've tried before.
The restaurant is highly recommended for vegetarians.

Koja's Concept Still Good, Execution Lacking
Admittedly, the last time I went to Koja was in Sparks, about 6 years ago. It's hard for a small, counter space only place to compete with that. But this experience wasn't the same.
The rice bun stuck to the wrapper (which never happened before) and the sauce was almost missing. I love the concept, but it's just not as good anymore.

SF's New Favorite Gluten-Free Gem!
My experience at this restaurant was exceptional, largely due to the incredible short rib koja. This unique sandwich, featuring crispy rice as buns, was one of the best things I've eaten in a long time, eliciting many an expletive of excitement. The meat was moist, tender, and flavorful, perfectly complemented by an excellent slaw.
It's evident that quality ingredients and expert preparation were used. I'm not exaggerating; this is my new favorite food item in all of SF! The fact that it's naturally gluten-free is a huge bonus for me.
Beyond the amazing food, the service was warm and friendly. I was promptly greeted and offered assistance, and even though I opted for the self-service kiosk, I appreciated seeing an elderly gentleman being guided through his order. The overall experience was fantastic.

Decent Bahn Mi, But Not Worth a Special Trip
I visited Little Vietnam Cafe, which I discovered also operates as Koja Kitchen, for some Bahn mi. The Bahn mi were good, and I ordered two sandwiches: one chicken and one ham combo. I requested the jalapeño on the side, but it was placed so close to the sandwich that it made part of it too spicy for my family.
The sandwiches were a decent size, with the French bread being thicker at the ends. The cucumber, carrots, and cilantro were well-flavored and complemented the meat nicely. The ham combo had good flavor and taste, while the chicken was plentiful but could have used a bit more seasoning.
Overall, it was a decent sandwich, and the price was under $10 per sandwich. I would get it again if I were in the area, but I wouldn't make a special trip just for it. It seems primarily like a to-go place, though there are some seats by the window for cafe-style counter dining.

A Must-Try Korean Gem!
I wasn't even looking for Korean food, but this place caught my attention! I'll keep it brief and just tell you to come here and eat. Definitely get the Tiger Koja from the not-so-secret menu.

Interesting concept, waffle fries heavy
My experience at the restaurant was interesting. The neat idea to put meat in rice cake was a highlight, and even the meat itself was tender. I would love to come back to try different food from the menu.
However, the waffle fries were heavy.
