Thank you for standing for values
I read about this restaurant in the news and I’d just like to say thank you for standing for what’s right. As Americans, it seems we as a society have been slowly losing our values, and I’m happy to hear this cafe has a clear understanding of what’s theirs. The atmosphere was rated a 5.

Overpriced Sandwich, Lacking Sides
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing due to the high price and missing items. I found the $25 price for a sandwich to be insane. Additionally, there was an unexpected $1.
75 takeaway fee. I also thought the sandwich was supposed to come with chips, but there were none. While the sandwich itself was good, I don't believe any sandwich, other than a muffaletta in New Orleans, is worth $25.

Overpriced Hoagie with Bad Coleslaw
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing due to the high cost and poor value. I ordered a single hoagie to go, and with a 20% tip, the total came to $30. To make matters worse, they added a fee for taking the sandwich to go, which I found ridiculous.
While the hoagie itself was good, the coleslaw was actively bad. For $30, I expected a much better deal; at $15, it might have been acceptable, but at this price, I will never return. Additionally, the wait time for my food felt long, especially since I was the only one ordering in the bar area.
The bar itself is just a generic sports bar with little character.

Ignored Requests, Illness Followed
I ordered twice from this restaurant because I'm too far from other sandwich places for pick up or delivery. On both occasions, my requests to leave the sandwich whole and omit the hot peppers were ignored. This last order led to a bad night of intestinal illness, from both ends.
I'll leave Hog Island Hoagie off my list of places to eat at or from.

Good sandwich, high price
Yeah OK, the sandwich was good. However, I paid $25 after all the taxes and fees for one small sandwich. Also, they forgot part of my order and had to make it after I got there.
I could easily go to a place like Jersey Mike’s that has sandwiches that are, I think, just as good at half the price.

Bring Back the Old Rolls!
My official plea is to bring back the old roll! We moved here from Philadelphia, and these sandwiches have always been a taste of home. However, I gotta tell ya, this new bread isn’t it.
It’s too dense, the outside is too hard, and overall has too much chew to it.

Disappointed by Bread Change
I'm downgrading my usual rating for this place due to a specific ingredient change. They no longer offer the soft French roll, and the Sea Wolf hoagie is not a good match for their sandwiches. I can't imagine getting a cheesesteak on it; it's too tough and not what I loved about the sandwiches here.
The sandwiches themselves are rad, but I'll refrain from ordering until the soft roll returns to the menu, as it's too much $$$ for a sandwich if you don't like the bread.

Pleasantly Surprised by Petrovskis Bar Deli
I was looking for the deli but they’re working out of Petrovskis bar and I was pleasantly surprised. The bartender is super friendly and attentive and the food was very good. I have been craving a hoagie since I moved here from Philadelphia.
The sandwiches here are the real deal.

Best Italian Sandwich & Cheesesteak!
My experience at this kitchen inside Petoskey's in Fremont was fantastic. I've been a loyal customer for years and always order the same thing because it's that good. They serve the best Italian sandwich (aside from JM) and one of the best cheesesteaks in town.
It's the perfect hangover cure, especially if you don't skip the Chicago pickle. Yum!

Best Italian Hoagie in Seattle!
Wow! What a find. I've been in Seattle for 3 years and have been searching for a good deli.
Although not a deli in the traditional sense, the Italian hoagie was the best I've had in Seattle. Great meat, oil and vinegar, and lil momma's peppers. Delicious.
The tator tots as a side were a great touch, and they had a nice spot. Can't believe I've never been here and I live a mile away. The best part is that it's a Vikings bar that shows the viles game.
As a Vikings fan, this place will be my new living room on Sundays.
