Yetenbi - Reviews

First off, the name of this restaurant has changed to Adot Kitfo and is no longer Yetenbi, as of my visit on October 26, 2025. My friend and I tried their Kitfo and Gored Gored, and they tasted great. I would definitely come back.

I don't know where to begin when describing my experience at Yetenbi. I am incredibly impressed with the quality of the food. What stood out most is that the food served to customers is never refrigerated or kept for long; it's always fresh. You truly cater to your customers' needs by preparing dishes immediately upon order. I was also delighted by the customer service; your smiles alone are satisfying! Furthermore, the portion sizes are generous, with one order easily feeding two people. For a complete dining experience, Yetenbi is definitely your choice. The abundance of meat is remarkable, and Yetenbi's Kitfo is plentiful. These Yetenbi folks offer so much, with various types of Kitfo and other dishes for those who desire them. They can accommodate everything and even offer Ethiopian traditional coffee. It's a joy to be served here.

As a very selective meat eater, the kitfo at Yetenbi’s was one of the most delicious I’ve had, second only to my mother’s. It truly melts in your mouth! The speed at which all the food was cooked and served was impressive, and quality was not compromised. It was a truly amazing experience. I felt very welcomed here and hope to return soon when I’m back in Seattle.

While traveling from Toronto to Seattle to visit family, I was taken to Yetenbi Ethiopian restaurant. It was unbelievable and amazing. The quality of food, price, and amount of food were all exceptional. The way they serve their customers with respect and a smile was also outstanding. I've traveled to many countries and have never encountered a restaurant like this. I truly wish I could have this kind of Ethiopian restaurant in Toronto. Keep it up. 👍

We visited this Ethiopian restaurant yesterday and were very disappointed. The food did not meet our expectations at all, especially the kitfo, which was not good. What made the experience even worse was that we were charged almost three times the regular price for the meal. This was very upsetting and felt unfair. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we will not be returning. We hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and makes some improvements.

My experience at the restaurant was very positive. The food was incredibly tasty and flavorful. I also appreciated the great price, making it very affordable. Furthermore, the people there were very nice, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere.

I don’t usually go to Ethiopian restaurants since I enjoy cooking myself, but we had a special occasion with colleagues and went for lunch as a group. The food was absolutely amazing, and the atmosphere was very enjoyable — it really made the experience memorable. One area that could be improved is the service. There was no dedicated waitress, which led to noticeable delays and less attentiveness when we needed refills or were ready to pay the bill. It would make a big difference if at least one person could focus on table service to enhance the overall dining experience. We’re hoping to visit again soon and look forward to a more streamlined service next time!

My family and I had a delightful experience at Yetenbi Ethiopian Restaurant. My two kids and I, along with my friend, were thoroughly impressed! The food was a hit all around, with the Kitfo being a standout for its incredible flavor. We also really enjoyed the Tibs and the comforting Gomen BeSiga. The atmosphere was welcoming for families, and the service was excellent. We'll definitely be returning to Yetenbi for more delicious Ethiopian cuisine!

My experience at this restaurant was largely disappointing. The food was overly greasy, and they served us kurt meat typically meant for making Tibs, not for eating as is. The menu offers very limited options, and water isn’t served unless specifically requested. Despite the food issues, the people were very kind.

Beyond the delicious cuisine, the spacious and impeccably clean ambiance created a very pleasant atmosphere. What truly elevated the experience was the truly exceptional customer service, which left a lasting positive impression.
