Flavorful Thai in a Relaxed Setting
My experience at Roy Southern Thai Cuisine was a flavorful and satisfying one. The restaurant offers a warm, casual atmosphere that feels both authentic and welcoming. The dishes were vibrant and well presented, making them visually appealing. The lighting inside was warm and balanced, especially in the evening. The service was friendly and efficient, contributing to an overall genuine and comforting experience. It's a great stop for tourists seeking bold tastes without a formal setting. Roy Southern Thai Cuisine is an excellent choice for those who enjoy bold tastes and relaxed dining.

Unique Thai Flavors with Small Portions
My experience at this restaurant was marked by very unique Thai food, offering a departure from what's typically found in the area. We enjoyed several dishes, including the karee puffs, hat yai fried chicken, phad Thai chaiya, muu hong, and khua kling, all of which were excellent. The Thai iced tea was also a highlight. My only note is that the portions are pretty small, so it's advisable to order more dishes than you might initially anticipate. The atmosphere and service were rated a perfect 5, contributing to a great dining experience.

Authentic and Tasty Thai Dishes
My experience at this new Thai place was really great. It offers unique Thai dishes that are not the basic ones you find everywhere. I really loved trying new Thai dishes that were really tasty. The service was also really good; they always made sure we were doing well. I really loved the roti, mussels, and the beef curry.

Delicious Food, Attentive Service
My experience at this restaurant was overwhelmingly positive. The food was delicious, with the Roy Khao Yum salad standing out for its amazing flavor and being a definite must-get with every meal. We also thoroughly enjoyed the Moo Hong braised pork. While we wished the portion size for the pork was a bit larger, the overall culinary experience was excellent. The service was exceptionally attentive and kind, making the dining experience even more pleasant. I would definitely come again!

Authentic Thai Gem with Southern Hospitality!
My experience at this restaurant was exceptional! It's truly one of the best Thai restaurants in Seattle, offering very authentic cuisine and even better customer service. Every visit feels like being part of their family. I especially appreciate the unique dishes that are hard to find elsewhere, reminiscent of southern hospitality in Seattle. My favorite was the braised beef belly, which had a perfect hint of sweetness and savoriness. The roti bread was spot on with its chewiness and flavor. The spicy dish we ordered packed a powerful kick. The curry dumplings puffs were so delicious, I could have eaten the breading alone. The tea was incredibly refreshing and perfect for cleansing the palate. Even the fried pineapple was a unique and tasty surprise! I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

Authentic Southern Thai Flavors in Seattle
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I had authentic Southern Thai food, and I must order the Kua Kling and Mataba and Moo Kho. The flavors were so delicious, it's hard to find anything like it in Seattle. I especially recommend the Mataba roti with potatoes. This is not your basic Thai restaurant for sure!

Mixed Feelings: Good Desserts, Disappointing Mains
My experience at this restaurant was a mix of highs and lows. The desserts were good, but the main dishes were disappointing. I found the pork belly to be very thick and difficult to enjoy. The cumin chicken soup tasted quite different from what I’ve experienced at Thai restaurants or Southern Thai street food in Thailand; it didn’t match the flavor profile I was expecting. On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and attentive.

Not kid-friendly, felt rushed
I visited with some friends and my 1. 5-year-old. Unfortunately, the restaurant was not kid-friendly. I would not return with my toddler. We also felt rushed as they brought us the check without us asking, making us feel like we were being kicked out.
