What was a last-minute walk-in for dinner has now become our go-to for great Latin cuisine. It was well worth the visit as they have a well-crafted and delicious menu. Literally, everything we had was great and decently priced.

My experience at the restaurant was fantastic, especially with the churros. They were delicious – freshly made and perfect. I never knew they could taste that good. The food was rated a 5, and the atmosphere was also a 5. Service was excellent with no wait time.

This was a great pit stop before heading to the Chase Center for a concert. The chips and salsas were tasty, but the standout was the Cubano and margarita. The hot off the griddle Cubano was so good and the sweet, smoky and spicy margarita was very tasty. I would recommend this place.

It breaks my heart to write this review because Gilberths has been a solid restaurant for me for years, offering affordable food with good portions. However, I ordered my usual burrito for takeout yesterday and had the unpleasant experience of biting into a clothing tag 🙃. This nearly got lodged in my throat and I could have easily choked. I'm now disgusted beyond belief because I can't even begin to imagine how bad the food safety practices must be in the kitchen for this to happen. As I said, so sad because I've been supporting them for years, but this is unacceptable.

My experience at the restaurant was disappointing. The portion size of the fries was very small, with little to no fries served. The meat was also way too tough. Honestly, it was the worse lomito Salgado I've ever had.

As residents, we were so happy to find this neighborhood gem in the Dogpatch! The atmosphere and vibe were great, and the service was lovely. The food was yum with generous servings! We would definitely come back.
