Best Pho in SF!
I used to live in the neighborhood, and this place is the best pho in SF. The food was rated a 5 out of 5, service was a 5 out of 5, and the atmosphere was a 5 out of 5. We had no wait time and dined with 2 people.

Food okay, but concerning health effects
My experience at this restaurant was mixed. The food was just okay. However, both my son and I experienced light headaches, felt lightheaded, and had numbness after our meal. This led me to question if MSG is used in their dishes.

Delicious Food, Great Coffee!
My experience at the restaurant was very positive. I found the crispy crab and chicken to be absolutely delicious, fresh, and tasted light and healthy. I also loved the drip coffee and condensed milk for its sweetness. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was quiet and conducive to conversation.

Authentic Vietnamese Gem with Kind Service
My experience at this restaurant was wonderful. The food was excellent, featuring a simple yet well-executed menu. I particularly enjoyed the fresh, light pho ga with carefully pulled chicken and the creamy peanut sauce with the fresh spring rolls. Everything was just right, bringing back memories of Vietnam without the downsides. The service was kind and understated, making me feel welcome. It was also reasonably priced, offering great value.

Worth the splurge for great food
My experience at this restaurant was excellent, particularly with the food and service. It's a busy little spot, so be prepared that you might have to share a table. While the prices are a bit higher than what you'd typically expect at Vietnamese restaurants, the quality makes it worth it.

Tiny Chicken Portions, Big Disappointment
My primary complaint, and it seems to be a common one based on other reviews and photos, is the incredibly small portion size of the 5 spiced chicken dish. As a small Asian woman, I rarely find myself complaining about not having enough food in an entree, but this restaurant served only two very small, thin pieces of chicken. The rice was fine, and it came with a dipping sauce and some decorative vegetables. Honestly, they need to triple the portion of chicken. Most other Vietnamese restaurants offer about four times the amount for the same price or less. To address this, they could either reclassify this dish as an appetizer or increase the price and provide an adequate amount of chicken. I believe fixing this issue would significantly improve the restaurant's reviews, as the offensive small portion size is clearly angering customers.

Homey Pho with Prompt, Kind Service
My experience at this restaurant was incredibly homey. The service was prompt and kind, and the food was fresh and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the crispy imperial rolls and the combination pho, complemented by a Vietnamese pour-over. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Worst Soup and Deep Cleaning Needed
My experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. I found the soup and broth to be the absolute worst I've ever had, lacking any authenticity. Despite trying to improve it with various seasonings like white pepper, sesame oil, and Szechuan pepper, it remained bad. I will never return, especially considering the state of the establishment. The place desperately needs a deep cleaning, with visible dirt stuck to the walls. Furthermore, the storage of child booster seats in the bathrooms was mortifying. My second visit, solely due to convenience near the hospital, confirmed I will never be back.

Disappointing Imperial Rolls
I had been wanting to try this place for years because it is nearby. I ordered the Imperial rolls. They are supposed to also have crab, shrimp, and pork, but they didn't seem to have very much of any of those things. The rolls were very greasy and surprisingly flavorless. The dipping juice has some flavor, but without the juice, I was surprised that rolls with crab, pork, and shrimp could turn out to not be very tasty. Hopefully, the rest of the menu is better.
