My experience at the restaurant was not up to par. The food was not what I expected. We had the chicken and waffles, but the waffles were really thin, and the chicken breast was so small.

I found this place online locally and decided to try it. I ordered the chicken & waffles, which was delicious; the added fruit provided a nice sweetness. For the price, it was a great value. My husband ordered the bacon biscuit sando, which had potential but was unfortunately very oily/greasy, with even the biscuit drenched in oil. The environment in the restaurant was nice and colorful, and the staff was okay. Overall, a mixed experience with standout dishes and some areas for improvement.

I feel very lucky to have discovered this place before it becomes too popular! I've dined here four times, and on each occasion, the food has been nothing short of exceptional. The service and atmosphere were also top-notch, both receiving a perfect score.

My experience at the restaurant was outstanding. My wife had the shrimp and grits, and I had the chicken and waffles. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed the season lemonade (guava), which was great!

I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. We managed to get the last scoop of macaroni, and it was really good, though just a little greasy. Highly recommended!

My experience at Smoke Soul Kitchen was incredible, especially for brunch. The fried chicken sandwich and shrimp and grits were phenomenal. As someone who has lived in Texas and North Carolina, I was unsure about finding comparable food in San Francisco, but Smoke Soul Kitchen truly blew me away. Beyond the exceptional food, the owner and staff were exceptionally warm and hospitable. They even offered us complimentary samples of their chocolate chip cookie recipes they were testing. We brought our dogs, and although there wasn't a dedicated back patio as I'd seen in photos, they were very accommodating with tables available on the sidewalk out front. I absolutely cannot wait to go back!

My experience at the restaurant was fantastic! The food was great, and the service was amazing. Everyone was so friendly! Everyone I was with loved what they ordered. I would highly recommend the shrimp & grits and beignets.

My mother and I visited this restaurant for the first time, drawn by its local neighborhood presence and a desire to support local businesses. Unfortunately, our experience had a few issues. The menu did not reflect the items listed online, which was both disappointing and misleading. We were also surprised by the ordering process, as we had to order before sitting down without any explanation. The lady at the front desk was not welcoming and seemed inattentive, leaving us feeling confused. While the place itself is beautiful and has great potential, the restaurant urgently needs to improve its customer service and ensure its online menu accurately matches the offerings.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! It's a great spot for breakfast/lunch with delicious food, excellent service, and a wonderful ambience. I especially appreciated the clearly labeled vegetarian dishes and the great vibe. We will definitely be returning. I understand they will be getting a wine/beer license very soon.
