Worst Chipotle Experience
My experience at this Chipotle was consistently the worst I've encountered. Despite giving them another chance after a year, the staff appeared frantic and disorganized, tripping over each other. They were out of green hot sauce, which has been an issue on my last three visits to any Chipotle.
Several protein options were also unavailable. Even with only 3-4 people in line, the staff seemed so overwhelmed and disorganized that it looked like there was a line out the door.

Delicious food, small portions
My experience at the restaurant was a mix of delicious food and great staff, but the portions were surprisingly small, especially considering the higher price compared to other locations. The food was excellent, and the staff were nice. However, the portions were small, which was a letdown given the price.

Disappointing Catering Order Experience
I regularly order catering from this Geary location. My experience has been that their proteins are always disproportionately less than the lettuce or rice. The order on 10/13/2025 was late, and the chicken was missing from the catering order.
I couldn't get a resolution either by phone or via chatbot. Their chatbots are terrible; the order field couldn't recognize a correct order number. The rep on the phone also couldn't resolve the issue because no one would answer from the restaurant.
So, no chicken and still no refund! I may have to go elsewhere for Mexican food catering.

Frustrating Takeout Experience with Rice Policy
My experience with takeout today was beyond frustrating. When I went to order, the staff member casually told me they were out of white rice. Since I don’t like brown rice, I decided not to order, as there was no point in paying for food I wouldn’t enjoy.
However, moments later, as we got to the other side of the counter, I noticed a whole bin of white rice sitting in plain sight on the second line where they prep online orders. So, apparently, if you order through the app, you get white rice, but if you’re standing right there as a paying customer? Too bad.
It’s one thing to be out of something; it’s another to flat-out mislead customers. The fact that they couldn’t take 10 seconds to clarify that white rice was reserved for mobile orders (if that’s even true) shows either laziness, poor communication, or total disregard for in-person guests. I left without ordering, and honestly, without any confidence that this location values basic honesty or customer service.
If you’re wondering whether to go to this Chipotle, maybe just order online so they don’t “run out” of what they’re actually serving.

Rude Staff, Great Food
My experience at this restaurant was a mix of positive and negative. While the food was excellent, receiving a perfect score of 5, the service was unfortunately very poor. I witnessed a staff member being extremely rude to a customer who was ordering in English as a second language.
Instead of being patient and explaining the process, the server spoke quickly and curtly, even gesturing for the customer to move aside. This staff member clearly needs additional training in customer service and handling diverse situations. The atmosphere also received a low score of 1.

Good Food, Terrible Service
My experience at this Chipotle was a mixed bag. The food is consistently good, as expected from the chain. However, the service is horrible.
This particular store seems very poorly run and has a reputation in the neighborhood for bad experiences. It's often dirty and slow. I sometimes question if the employees are even aware they're at work.
I attempted to organize a fundraiser online, and when I came in to confirm, it took about six employees and 30 minutes for them to understand my request. The first employee I spoke to incorrectly stated, "no sorry we don't do that here, " despite me having confirmation from Chipotle themselves that the fundraiser was approved. While this location has seen marginal improvement over the past couple of years, do not expect to have a great experience when coming here.

Where's the Chicken? Rice and Salsa!
My experience at the restaurant was disappointing. I ordered 10 pieces of chicken, but what I received tasted like a bowl of rice with salsa. Yuck.
I was left wondering, 'Where’s my chicken? ' The food quality was extremely poor, and the dish did not match the description.

Disappointing Service at Chipotle
I generally like Chipotle, but this particular location is just not working. The staff seems to have completely no experience, and the manager is unhelpful, appearing quite haughty. It feels like they dislike their jobs.
This place really needs a restructuring. While I might feel like I'm the only one thinking this, the other comments confirm I'm right. Frankly, this situation has been ongoing for months, and the experience should have been much better.

Terrible Service, Pathetic Portions
My experience was absolutely terrible. The cashier was rude, dismissive, and completely lacking in customer service skills. She gave my order to someone else, double-charged me for their food and mine, then argued with me to “check my bank.
” When I showed her the proof, she just walked away. I had to call for a manager, twice, and what should’ve been a quick stop turned into 25 wasted minutes. She wasn’t even apologetic, but instead giving me attitude and making it seem like it was my fault for her mess up.
On top of that, the food portions were pathetic. I counted maybe 4–5 pieces of chicken in my bowl. For the price Chipotle charges, the portions are insulting.
If you care about protein or value for your money, this is the last place you should go. Quality has nosedived, service is abysmal, and I’d cut my own arm before coming back to this location again.
