I had a very strange experience at this wine bar. I was the only customer and ordered a glass of wine and a snack plate. A white couple came in after me. I was asked to put my card on file right as my food was placed in front of me, before I even picked up my fork. The couple was not asked to put a card on file when they ordered wine. I found this odd, especially because I’m a woman of color and I’ve never been asked to prepay for any wine bar in San Francisco. Perhaps I’m overreacting, but I live in Washington D. C. And have never been asked to prepay. It was as if the proprietor assumed I would “drink and dash”, which is so wrong. The wine was great, but the experience left me with a bad feeling.

This is a gem of a wine shop in Soma. The friendly crew helped me pick out some new flavors. Thanks!

We popped in on the way back to our Airbnb, looking for a bottle of Californian wine within a $25 budget. We ended up with a White Heron. As we're not big drinkers, a bottle would normally last us two nights, but unfortunately, this one didn't last that long!

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I was impressed by the great choice of wine and beers available. The service was awesome, and the food, while not the main focus, was nicely presented and very tasty. I'm already planning to come back, possibly for their next event!

I absolutely loved this spot! I came here for a university alumni event and had a blast. There were lots of options for someone like me who indulges in NA drinks.

The co-owners and Sommeliers, Cara and Simi, significantly enriched my visit with their expertise. They offer an accessible range of delightful wines and snacks that cater to any budget or palate. Furthermore, their commitment to supporting fellow small businesses is evident in their engaging events hosted at the bar, making for a truly vibrant lineup.

My experience at this wine shop/bar was truly incredible. Simi and Cara are elites in the somm world and were so helpful and knowledgeable. They guided me in choosing exactly what I was looking for, not just in wine, but also in cheeses, tinned fish, and everything needed to assemble a great charcuterie board at home. My partner has visited many times and always receives perfect recommendations. I also attended a wreath-making class, which was a fantastic combination with wine. The class was great, led by Kim from Wyldflower Workshop, who focuses on sustainability and social responsibility. I deeply appreciate supporting women-owned and progressive businesses. For a great bottle, a glass to enjoy in-shop, or charcuterie goods, this is the place to come first! They also offer regular classes, events, and a club subscription with various benefits.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic. We really enjoyed the wine recommendations and of course the vegan cheese, too. We’ll definitely come back and I’m so happy we have found this place. My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The friendly owners and inviting atmosphere made it a definite candidate for a favorite regular local haunt. They offer a nice wine and cheese selection, and an even nicer and wider array of seafood and other treats from Spain, Canada, and other places around the world. The tapas-bar goodies were reasonably priced. I highly recommend trying it!
