We recently moved into the neighborhood and have been exploring local restaurants. We're so glad we discovered this place! This was our second visit, and it truly reminded us why we were eager to return. The food is consistently fresh and flavorful, made with quality ingredients. You can really taste the difference, especially with their use of real crab. Everything we've tried has been delicious and perfectly cooked. The service further enhances the experience. Kyle and Jennifer were incredibly friendly, attentive, and brought such great energy, making us feel very welcome. In the kitchen, Chefs Gary and Jimmy showcase not only their amazing cooking skills but also their great humor and personality, demonstrating how much they care about their craft. There's a special feeling here that makes it feel like home – warm, relaxed, and full of good vibes. It has quickly become one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants, and we're already looking forward to our next visit!

My experience at this restaurant was exceptional. It's truly the best kept secret in SF, offering super fresh fish, delicious homemade pickles, and authentic wasabi. The sushi is incredibly authentic, and the service is intimate and friendly, providing a personal touch. The atmosphere was also rated highly, contributing to a wonderful dining experience.

On our honeymoon from Australia, we stumbled upon this incredible restaurant. The staff were excellent, and the food was akin to being in Japan. We will never forget this dining experience! The sushi is so good it makes me dizzy, featuring fresh cuts of fish with the perfect garnish and spiced rice. Every single fish they offer is top of the line, mouthwateringly good, and they consistently introduce new options. My family has been bringing me here for years, and they never disappoint. The staff creates a warm and welcoming vibe, always happy to see us, and they provide great recommendations and treats. The atmosphere is very cozy, and feeling like part of the Shoshin family makes it even cozier.

This is quite literally my favorite restaurant in the world. The quality of fish is incredible, and the preparation is excellent. Most of all, the service is fantastic. The staff always make us feel like family and are so excited about their food and sharing it with us. The sushi chef always has the best recommendations. Highly recommend all the nigiri (especially the toros) and the daigo shot.
