Fun Spot with Decent Food
My experience at Rocket Sushi was that it's a fun spot with a lively vibe. The food itself wasn’t particularly impressive, but it was decent enough for a casual family night out.

Food Okay, Service and Ambiance Lacking
My experience at this restaurant was mixed. The food was fine, and it did come fairly quickly, as did the drinks. However, the service and ambiance were poor. The staff were not very friendly and seemed to rush us out as it approached 9 pm on a Friday. The ambiance felt very commercial, with bright lights and to-go packing stations lining the wall, which had messy items all over the counter. The noise level was quiet, making it easy to talk, but the overall atmosphere was not pleasant.

Great Food, Unique Service Experience
My experience at this restaurant was marked by top-notch food and a unique, tech-driven service model. From the moment I entered, I felt very welcome. The ordering process is done via a table computer, and the food arrives on a rocket conveyor belt, which is quite entertaining. While the food quality is excellent, the staff's involvement is minimal due to the restaurant's design. This makes the request for a 16-20% tip feel ridiculous, as I'm essentially doing most of the work myself. Despite the tipping concern, I will return for the great food, though I don't feel the high tipping level is warranted here.

Great Sushi, Service Needs Improvement
My experience at this restaurant was primarily focused on their sushi, which I find to be great and at a great price. Living next door, I often place to-go orders for pickup. The main challenge is getting acknowledgement at the counter, as it can be difficult to get staff attention due to the throngs of very rude delivery drivers pushing their way through. This often forces the staff to be rude back, which I understand. However, I've experienced the staff mistaking me for a delivery driver and being rude, only to become much more polite once they see my phone and realize I'm the customer. It can be a bit awkward for everyone involved. Despite these service issues, the great sushi at a great price keeps us returning.
