Fantastic Atmosphere for Dates and Catch-ups
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The atmosphere is truly the best thing about it, making it a fantastic choice for date nights or catching up with an old friend. The food, particularly the Classic Spaghetti and Meatballs, was perfect, and they offer great dietary options like dairy-free and vegan. The service was also excellent, with a perfect score. We experienced moderate noise, which was pleasant. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience.

Flawless Service and Bomb Food!
My experience at this restaurant was exceptional, especially considering we arrived with a massive group during Portola weekend. The crew handled us flawlessly, demonstrating incredible kindness and attentiveness – a solid 10/10. My partner and I shared several dishes, all of which were amazing. The hot wings were bomb, as was the wild mushroom gnocchi. The fried eggplant cutlet with chili oil was also bomb. However, the absolute star of the show for me was the Spicy Caesar salad; I couldn't get enough and desperately need the recipe for that dressing! The ambiance of the place felt like a warm hug from the 90s. I would absolutely return whenever I'm in the area. Thanks, team!

Brooklyn Vibes with Amazing Food!
My experience at this restaurant reminded me of Brooklyn, where I lived for six years. The menu was beautifully crafted with an 'if you know, you know' vibe. I really appreciated the detail in the menu and drink selection. They offer Lambrusco, unique Negronis, and delicious pastas, with the lasagna being particularly insane. For group dinners, they have fun funky shots like the nacho cheese pickleback. I loved everything we had and we are definitely coming back often!

A Comforting Home-Cooked Meal in SF
New to SF and feeling homesick, I was craving a home-cooked meal. Walking into Emmy's, I was immediately greeted with a smile and a great spot at the bar. Surrounded by friendly, local patrons, Kat the bartender truly made me feel at home. I ordered the house wine (twice) during happy hour and the spaghetti with grandma's meatballs, which was delicious and enough for lunch the next day. My tab was $50. I left Emmy's with a full belly and a comforted soul!

Spaghetti & Meatballs with Atmosphere Issues
My brother suggested we stop by Emmy's while visiting SF. I ordered the spaghetti & meatballs plate. The meatballs were seasoned and cooked perfectly, though the sauce was your basic restaurant pasta sauce. I also ordered a small order of garlic bread. The bread was sliced thinly from a loaf of sourdough, topped with garlic butter and some parsley. It seemed like sliced bread that was toasted and then topped with garlic butter. I wasn’t thrilled with the atmosphere; there were children running around screaming and crying, and the lights were very dim, requiring me to use my phone light to read the menu. The server we had did a pretty good job serving.

Disappointing Italian Food Experience
My experience at Emmy's Spaghetti was unfortunately disappointing, as it did not live up to the hype I had heard. The food tasted like a generic American take on Italian cuisine, comparable to Chef Boyardee quality, especially considering the price of $25+ per plate. We found that our pasta dishes and appetizers lacked significant flavor. The best aspect of the restaurant was its atmosphere.

Fun Drinks, Big Portions, Okay Food
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The atmosphere was really fun, and they definitely deliver on big portions. If you're in that part of town and looking for fun drinks and generous servings, it's worth a visit. However, the food quality was just okay, comparable to something like an Olive Garden.

Great Staff, Lively Atmosphere, Delicious Food
My experience at this restaurant was very positive. The staff were great, and the atmosphere was lively. It's conveniently located next to the Royal Cuckoo Bar, making it a perfect spot for dinner before or after drinks. I highly recommend the wings, meatballs, and gnocchi.

Perfect Spot for a Memorable Date Night
I visited this restaurant with my girlfriend for dinner. The atmosphere was beautiful, loud, and filled with welcoming energy. The decor, with walls covered in posters and plants, contributed to the inviting ambiance. The staff was kind and enthusiastic. Both our appetizers and main meals were served in generous portions and were incredibly flavorful. We were consistently checked on by the staff. After leaving for Twin Peaks, which was closed, we returned for dessert. It was here, in their adorable photobooth, that I proposed! Thank you for being a part of our special story.
