Rushed Service Ruined a Vegetarian-Friendly Find
We visited this restaurant specifically because it was recommended as a place with options for my vegetarian friend. Despite the cold weather outside, the hostess was accommodating and found us an inside table after a short five-minute wait, which was perfectly fine. However, the positive experience quickly soured.
Shortly after being seated, our waiter seemed to be in a rush, pushing us to order main meals within minutes of receiving our drinks and appetizer. This rushed feeling continued throughout the meal, with staff hovering every ten minutes to check on our progress, which felt strange and rude. The Burrata appetizer was just OK.
My Ragu pasta was really good, but my friend's spinach cheese balls were described as just cheese balls with spinach. Even a simple request for Parmesan resulted in an annoyed look from the staff. The inside decor was also just OK.
Ultimately, the poor customer service, particularly the feeling of being rushed and the staff's annoyance, overshadowed any positive aspects of the food. We ended up leaving early to spend our money at a bar next door that offered a much more relaxed experience.

Enjoyed food and ambiance, would return
I was very impressed with my experience. I ordered 2 pizzas and 2 pastas, one special and one from the list. I also enjoyed a bottle of wine and a couple of spritzes.
Overall, I really enjoyed the food and the ambiance. It was pretty loud in there, but it was packed, and they also had an outdoor area. I would definitely go back.

Good Neighborhood Spot with Classic Dishes
My experience at this restaurant was that of a good neighborhood spot. The menu features only classics, and I found the pastas to be quite good. The pizza was decent.
I also tried the beet salad, which wasn't my favorite. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere were rated a 4.

Authentic Italian Gem, Cozy Venue
My experience at this restaurant was centered around its authentic Italian food. The food was great, and their speciality is clearly Italian. The venue is a bit too small, but the food quality made up for it.
Service and Price per person were rated 5 and $30–50 respectively, with Atmosphere rated 3 and Food rated 5.

Delicious Food, Worth the Wait
We were lucky to get a table as we arrived early. Every dish we ordered was good. We enjoyed the Minestrone, Calzone, and Grilled Salmon.
The chef's specials were also delicious. There were too many good choices, so reservation is recommended.

Delicious Italian with Warm Service
I had a great night at Pazzia! My experience was enhanced by the Pollo Marsala, which was super tender with a rich, flavorful sauce. To finish, the crème caramel was the perfect sweet touch.
The service was warm and attentive, making the whole experience even better. I highly recommend Pazzia if you’re in San Francisco and craving classic Italian!

Incredible Food, Amazing Service!
My boyfriend and I decided to try our luck walking in on a busy Saturday night without a reservation. The place was packed and buzzing with energy, but the staff couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating — they made us feel welcome right away. The food was incredible.
I had the wild king salmon spinach paccheri pasta, which was rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. My boyfriend got the sausage pizza — crispy, savory, and loaded with flavor. We also shared the calamari, which was light, crispy, and not at all greasy.
This has quickly become one of my favorite Italian spots in the city. Great vibes, excellent service, and unforgettable food. Can’t wait to come back!

Delicious Linguine Alle Vongole!
My experience at the restaurant was fantastic! The food was absolutely delicious, and the linguine alle vongole was amazing. My kids even said it had a 'W aura, ' which I take as a very positive sign.
The atmosphere and service were both rated a perfect 5, indicating a wonderful dining environment and attentive staff. With a price range of $30-50 per person and seating in the indoor dining area for our group of 3-4 people, it was a great overall experience.

Disappointing Closure on Last Night
I had a table booked and confirmed for 6pm on Saturday, so imagine my disappointment to find the restaurant closed. Honestly, I was so upset to find ourselves stood outside on our last night in San Francisco with nowhere to go, having walked 40 minutes to get there. It ruined our night.
I can't understand how or why this happened. I appreciate wanting to close for the holiday weekend, but had you simply cancelled our reservation, we could have made other arrangements. It was inexcusable and appalling customer service.
ALSO NOTE: NO REPLY OR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT FROM RESTAURANT - REALLY POOR SERVICE. Avoid.
