Great Food, Terrible Service
My experience at Delarosa was a mix of excellent food and a deeply disappointing service. The food was genuinely great, with delicious pizza that arrived quickly. The atmosphere was also a highlight – clean, modern, and family-friendly, creating a warm and inviting vibe.
However, the customer service completely ruined the experience. While the host was initially friendly, his dismissive gesture with the water was off-putting. Our waitress seemed miserable and uninterested, making it feel like she was just going through the motions.
Her check-ins were poorly timed, making us feel rushed, and subsequent requests for more orders felt like an attempt to get us out quickly. Despite the praise-worthy food, the lack of basic courtesy and attentiveness from the staff made it impossible to recommend Delarosa or consider returning.

Unique Flavors and a Scrumptious Focaccia!
After visiting the SF MoMa, we walked into this restaurant. The fall pizza was definitely unique, offering a different flavor profile than usual. The cauliflower was good, but the highlight was the tiny onion focaccia — this was really, really scrumptious and a must-try item!

Modern Spot with Good Food & Service
My experience at this modern restaurant was quite enjoyable. The seating, with tables featuring communal benches, might not be the most comfortable, but it adds to the place's unique vibe. I appreciated the open kitchen, allowing a view of the food preparation.
The food was delicious, and the service was good.

Excellent Italian Pizza and Ginger Beer
My experience at this great Italian place was excellent. I had their burrata and funghi pizza, which was superb, and a ginger beer that was notably strong. The pizzas were truly excellent, and the ginger beer was also great.
I would definitely recommend trying this place out!

Reliable Roman Pizza & Great Happy Hour
We had our team happy hour party here, and it was a great place and food. Located in a quiet plaza off Yerba Buena Gardens, this favorite spot delivers reliable Roman-style pizzas with yum crusts and punchy toppings. The happy hour steals the show with $10 plates like burrata with honey-hazelnuts or meatballs.
It's a low-key group spot with outdoor seating that feels worlds away from the Financial District hustle. Portions are generous, and service is speedy, even on busy nights. The ziti pasta is also good.
Downsides? It can get loud inside, but that's what happy hours are for 🙃.

Delicious Food, Rude Manager
My experience at this restaurant was a mix of culinary delight and service frustration. The vegetarian pizza with burrata cheese was incredibly delicious, truly a highlight of the meal. However, the manager's attitude was far from polite.
We arrived for a light dinner on a Saturday around 7: 30 pm, and despite seeing several available tables, we were told there was a 20-minute wait. Even when my husband pointed out the unoccupied tables, the manager remained indifferent, stating only bar seating was available. We chose to wait, and surprisingly, we were seated within 5-7 minutes at one of the previously empty tables.
While the food's taste managed to distract me, the rude attitude was definitely an unwelcome aspect of the evening.

Terrible Service, No Staff Available
My experience at this restaurant was marked by a complete lack of service. Upon arrival, there was no host to greet us. After a considerable wait, someone finally came to seat us, but then no waiter ever approached our table.
We ended up leaving after 15 minutes due to this terrible service and poor management.

Confusing Billing with Surcharges
My experience at this restaurant was marked by a confusing billing situation. While they offer suggested tip amounts, they also add a 5% surcharge to the bill. It would be more logical if the suggested tips already accounted for this additional charge, as it feels like I'm being asked to tip on an amount that already includes a surcharge.

Decent Food, Great Vibes, Loud Atmosphere
My experience at this restaurant involved trying their pizzas and some appetizers. While the food wasn't bad, it wasn't outstanding either. The fennel sausage was a disappointment, but the funghi pizza was my favorite.
The restaurant boasts a nice atmosphere with plenty of seating, however, it's quite loud, making conversation difficult. Overall, I found the food decent for a fair price, suggesting it's more a place for vibes than exceptional cuisine.

A Decent, Well-Made Classic Pizza
My experience at the restaurant involved a pizza that arrived promptly and was well prepared. While the ingredients didn't particularly stand out or elevate the pizza, it was still good. It felt as though the venue aimed to present the dining experience as more refined than it actually was.
To be clear, it was a decent, well-made classic pizza.
