My experience began with a starter of ham and melon and mixed fried fish, perfectly complemented by a Pinot Noir. I then enjoyed fresh pasta with braised ragu, followed by a second course of exceptional meat and polenta. Although I don't have photos, I will definitely return soon to share them. As a Sicilian, I can attest that the quality and this place are beyond all expectations. My compliments to all the staff and to the creator, Maestro Gary Rulli.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The food truly steals the show and is undeniable. The service was also excellent, with staff being super friendly and attentive. I highly recommend the Tiramisu.

I've previously visited this restaurant with colleagues for events and always experienced great service. However, my recent visit with my wife tonight was unfortunately met with an inattentive experience at the bar. The barkeep served every other couple at the bar, asking if they wanted another round, but completely overlooked us. Due to this disappointing service, we will not be bringing our business or family here again.

As a Marina girl, I hadn’t checked out Ristobar in a while but loved sitting at the 40 foot bar (longest bar in the Marina?) with WiFi and working on my laptop with a glass of wine and fritto misto and agnolotti. I loved the bartenders Scott and Cooper who cracked some jokes and lightened the mood. The private room in the back would also be the perfect place for a cozy private dinner or date night.

My experience at the restaurant was largely negative due to small portions that left me hungry and poor service. There was also an issue with no chicken available to add to a pasta dish. While the food itself was okay, the service was lacking as our waitress did not check up on our table. However, after some initial problems, Lola, the hostess, did come to check on us. We appreciated Lola’s help in resolving the issue that should have been handled by our waitress. Despite Lola's intervention, I would not go back.

My experience at this restaurant was absolutely wonderful. I'm so happy I got to try it. The white lotus was to die for, and the carbonara was equally impressive. The service was stellar, with Mica making my family and me feel so loved. It's a wonderful place to come for a great night with great food. I will definitely be coming back again and again!

My experience at Risto Bar on Chestnut Street was truly unforgettable! We visited with a large group of 20 people, including two young children, and the staff handled our party with exceptional ease and warmth. The service was incredible – friendly, professional, and effortlessly accommodating, with a special thank you to Adrian. It's rare to find a place that makes large parties feel like individuals, but Risto Bar excelled. The food was outstanding: the branzino was tender and perfectly seasoned, the lamb chops were juicy and rich, and the house-made spinach pappardelle was an absolute standout with its fresh, silky pasta and deep, layered flavor. You can truly taste the care in every bite. The ambience is beautiful, chic yet welcoming, creating a vibe perfect for date nights, celebrations, or simply treating yourself. It has that sought-after ‘hidden gem’ feel. I highly recommend this place; it’s the kind of dining experience that reminds you how great eating out can be!

My experience at this restaurant was excellent! If you're looking for variety and good prices for dinner in San Francisco, this is the place. The service from the waitress was also excellent. I loved it! Thanks for everything, I had an incredible night.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The food was excellent, with dishes like the Branzino, Tagliatelle, and NY Steak all prepared to perfection. The service was great, and the decor was beautiful. They also offer creative cocktails and desserts, so be sure to save room for dessert! The atmosphere was a 5/5, though the music from the DJ later in the evening didn't quite match the ambiance. I would have preferred Italian classics from artists like Dean Martin, Sinatra, or Bobby Darin. Overall, a highly recommended spot, especially for vegetarians.
