My experience at this restaurant was very mediocre for the price. While the pasta and pizza were solid, we found that we should avoid everything else based on our experience.

My experience at Che Fico was exceptional. The short braised rib ravioli was absolutely incredible, delivering rich, tender, and flavorful bites. The focaccia bread was perfectly soft and fluffy, with just the right amount of olive oil and salt. Beyond the amazing food, the service was attentive and friendly without being overbearing. It's a must-visit spot in San Francisco🌉 for anyone who appreciates great Italian food done right.

My experience at their Sunday brunch was sincerely one of the worst I’ve ever had at a restaurant. We were ready to order by the time they brought us water, which was a good 10-15 minutes after we sat down. Forty minutes went by and we were starving, so we ordered bloody mary’s to help the time pass. The bloody marys were basically blended salsa and way too sweet. It was so awkward, but it was over an hour and fifteen minutes since we ordered and our food still hadn’t come, so I got up and asked our waiter for the check. They apologized and weren’t rude, but ran to the kitchen to check on our meals and of course immediately came out with our plates. They explained they were training new people and apologized again, comping only our drinks. As noted in the pictures, the food looked like it was sitting out for a while. The food was not hot, and there was a film over the hollandaise sauce. We left the restaurant with uneasy stomachs. I think the staff should take food safety protocols more seriously. I will not be returning.

I was hopeful for a more pleasurable experience at this restaurant during my short visit to San Francisco. It appeared to be an issue to add a protein to the pesto pasta dish. The energy was a bit stiff, starting from the waiter who brought water to the table. The food was okay, I was not impressed. I had an amazing Italian restaurant experience in San Jose and will return there but not here.

My experience at the restaurant was really positive. The food was really really yummy, and the service was very friendly. They went above and beyond to make vegan pizza and vegan pasta for me, and both were great!

This cute Italian spot is a Divisadero classic, offering plenty of tasty pizza and pasta dishes, along with a fun weekend brunch menu. I visited with friends for brunch and we had a great time! Our server was friendly and did an excellent job explaining the menu and sharing recommendations. She offered suggestions unprompted, which I appreciated, though it might be a bit much for some – be prepared for a 5-10 minute explanation at the start, but you'll be very well-informed to choose your meal. For food, I enjoyed the frittata with corn and Parmesan; the sweet corn pops were delicious, and it was topped with a generous amount of Parmesan. While a bit heavy for me, it was served with a nice, fresh baby gem lettuce salad to balance the dish. One friend had a breakfast sandwich that was delicious, and we shared the focaccia. The focaccia was surprisingly sweet and much airier/lighter than expected, but it was a great sweet bite nonetheless.

My experience at this restaurant was amazing from start to finish. I enjoyed a fantastic meal that included the antipasto, a delicious pasta course, a classic margarita pie, and was capped off with the exquisite lamb with salsa verde and potatoes. Everything was just delicious. The service was perfect, and the restaurant had a great buzzy vibe.

We visited at 1pm and were initially on the brunch menu, but we were still happy with our meal. While we had a hard time understanding the menu at first, our waitress was very nice and did a great job explaining the dishes. I ordered the rhubarb acqua fresca, which was so good. My husband's limonatta was also good, though not as exceptional as the acqua fresca. For a starter, we had the focaccia bread with mascarpone and honey, and it was absolutely amazing – worth the 15 minutes spent circling for parking! If you're here for brunch, you must order this. I'd love to know where to purchase that incredible honey; it was the best I've ever tasted. For mains, my husband had the panino per la colazione, which he found okay, liking the jam. My prosciutto cotto pizza was decent, with an amazing crust. We'd love to return to try a pasta dish and a different pizza. The savory focaccia for dinner sounds interesting, but it's hard to imagine it surpassing the amazing brunch blueberry focaccia. We loved the focaccia so much that we ordered two to go for our family to enjoy.

My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The food was absolutely great, earning a perfect score. However, the service was consistently terrible. Food came out so slow, and the employees were always extremely snobby and rude. It felt like this wasn't the right place for that kind of attitude.

My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The atmosphere was fun, and the food was delicious, though it was somewhat pricey. I also appreciated the very good wine list and the friendly staff. However, the biggest letdown was that this Italian restaurant couldn't make espresso – which was quite surprising! 🤷‍♀️
