Comfort Food Fusion Experience
My experience at this restaurant was a good one, offering a unique fusion of Italian and Chinese influences. The food smelled good and there was a variety of options. I chose a Philly cheese steak and a refreshing beverage. It was an overall good experience, and I'd recommend it as a place to enjoy comfort food.

Warm Welcome, Delicious Food, and Heartfelt Service
I love this mom and pop restaurant! They are always warm and welcoming. It’s an Asian Italian restaurant with good quality food and a very early Americana feel. The food is decent and the price is okay. Tonight, they really touched my heart when they offered to cut my food up because of my broken hand. This is the kind of service I expect when I come here – always welcome, considerate, and well fed. I love this place and the people here.

Yummy but Pricey Chinese Italian Fusion
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The food was yummy, though it was very different from what I expected. It should honestly be marketed as Chinese Italian food. The price was quite high for what we received; we only ordered one entree to share and it was almost $40. Additionally, it was pretty cold in the restaurant, so I'd recommend wearing a sweater.

Mixed Brunch Experience at a Mom and Pop Joint
This mom and pop joint offered a mixed experience. I thoroughly enjoyed my veggie breakfast omelette, and the food received a high rating of 5. My partner, however, found the Philly mushroom cheesecake to be mediocre and thought it was odd it was served with lettuce. They also wished for a Swiss cheese option. My partner can be quite picky, but I tried the sandwich and found it to be fine. I'm interested in returning to try other menu items.

Deceptive Pricing and Mediocre Food
My experience at this restaurant was marked by a significant discrepancy in pricing and a generally mediocre taste of food. I was initially told the chicken salad was $22, but upon receiving the bill, the price had increased to $25. This felt like a deceptive business practice. The taste of the food itself was very mediocre. I wish them good luck with these types of operations.

Scammed by this place, won't return
My experience at this restaurant was incredibly disappointing, primarily due to issues with price and service. I found it to be incredibly expensive. When I paid cash for a to-go order, they attempted to keep my change, assuming it was a tip, which was particularly frustrating as I needed the coins for laundry. When I brought this to the cashier's attention, she displayed an attitude and only returned less than half of my change. This principle issue has led me to decide not to return. I would strongly advise against paying in cash if you visit. Additionally, the spaghetti and meatballs dish was unsatisfactory, with only three meatballs, which felt like a rip-off. Overall, I felt scammed by this establishment.

Authentic Italian? Not Quite.
I was hoping for an authentic Italian restaurant, but this was not the case. The minestrone soup was very basic. I had the ravioli and meat sauce; the ravioli was good, but the meat sauce was very generic. The price was rather high for the quality of the food. On the positive side, the waitress was very prompt, and the food came out hot and quickly. If you are looking for a quick bite to eat, this restaurant would be fine. However, if you’re looking for true quality ethnic Italian food, this is not the place for you.

Great Lasagna and Pasta, Miss Old Location
I really enjoyed my experience here, especially the lasagna and pasta, which I liked a lot. The calamari and salads were also very good. I particularly miss their old location at Post and Larkin in San Francisco; the prices there were good. They used to only accept cash, which I found inconvenient as I would have preferred to pay with a credit card.

Disappointing Italian Food Experience
My experience at this restaurant was akin to tasting Italian food made with ingredients solely from the frozen section of Walmart. The meatballs were terrible, and the marinara sauce was generic. The pasta was served as if in a soup kitchen – drained and unseasoned, not tossed with butter, garlic, and cheese, but simply dumped onto the plate straight from the colander. I believe one could achieve a better result at home using readily available American Beauty pasta and a jar of generic marinara from Safeway. It's puzzling how this establishment remains in business, especially since this neighborhood seems to lack a proper understanding of authentic Italian cuisine. Perhaps Fiorella, a few blocks east on Clement, will eventually enlighten the local palate.
