Delicious Veg Biryani and Momos!
My experience at the restaurant was great! I ordered the veg biryani and veg momos, and they were both really good and delicious. These are must-try veg options. With the momos, they also provided achar which was super delicious.

Amazing First Indian Food Experience!
This was my first time trying Indian food, and it was an incredible experience. The chicken curry was exceptionally tender, the most tender chicken I've ever had in my life. The service, atmosphere, and food all received a perfect 5/5 rating. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Great Biryani, Naan, and Butter Chicken
My experience at the restaurant was great. The biryani, garlic naan, and butter chicken had great flavor, even late at night. The service, atmosphere, and food were all rated a 5 out of 5.

Terrible Chicken, Mostly Sauce
My experience ordering butter chicken for pickup was extremely disappointing. I received a dish that was 90% sauce with only thin slivers of stale, dried chicken. The meat was so poor quality, I wouldn't even feed it to a stray dog. There wasn't a single piece of edible meat in the entire order. It was a truly ridiculous and unacceptable presentation of the dish.

Fantastic Food, Celiac Danger
My experience at this restaurant was a mix of delight and concern. The food overall is fantastic and really tasty. However, there's a significant issue with their GF naan, which is absolutely not safe for celiac. I've experienced gluten exposure symptoms on three separate occasions after trying it. Despite this serious drawback, the food itself is very tasty. If they could ensure their GF naan is prepared safely without contamination, I would be a regular customer.

Fantastic Food and Service!
We visited late on a Wednesday and ordered the chana palak, dahl ghost, vegetable momos, and garlic naan. We specifically requested that the two main dishes be extremely spicy, which is often met with only a mild heat at most San Francisco restaurants. To our delight, they truly delivered on the spice! Beyond the heat, the dishes were also incredibly delicious. We're so glad we discovered this place; it offers fantastic food, friendly service, and a lovely atmosphere. This is now our new favorite spot!

Disappointing Food and Service
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The food was not good; we ordered butter chicken and tikka masala and were let down. The chicken tasted dry and flavorless, reminiscent of Costco rotisserie chicken. The naan was also not very good, being burnt and tough to chew. The food tasted very old. It's ridiculous that when you order sauce, rice doesn't come with it, and you have to pay extra for a tiny amount. Additionally, utensils were not included, forcing us to buy our own as we were visiting. I would suggest trying other places.

Mixed Feelings: Great Lamb Shank, High Prices
I visited Mission Curry House on a Sunday at noon for lunch. Despite being the only customers, the service was surprisingly slow. We ordered Vegetable Pakora, Tandoori Chicken, Lamb Shank, and Jeera Rice. The meal began with complimentary thin chips and red/green sauces, which was a nice touch. The Lamb Shank was the standout dish, featuring a very flavorful sauce, tender meat, and a generous portion. The Jeera Rice was also nicely prepared, with turmeric adding good color and flavor. The Vegetable Pakora and Tandoori Chicken were delicious as well. However, the prices are about 10% higher than other Mission Indian restaurants, like Aaha, without offering superior food quality or presentation to justify the premium. Overall, it's a good restaurant, but better value can be found elsewhere in the Mission.

Fantastic Gluten-Free Options!
My experience was just fantastic! This restaurant might be the best in the Mission. They offer so many gluten-free options, including gluten-free naan, which was a huge plus. The food quality was excellent, as indicated by the 5/5 rating for food.

Fantastic Flavorful Indian Food!
I used to eat here a bunch before Covid. During Covid, I ordered a few times, and it was just 'eh' with no flavor. However, my recent dine-in experience was fantastic! The food was incredibly flavorful and spicy without being overwhelming, adding to the overall taste. The portions were big, and I loved that I had great leftovers. I ordered the paneer tika masala and garlic naan. My friend enjoyed a yummy eggplant dish.
