My experience at Tara Indian was truly exceptional. I can confidently say it's the best Indian food I've ever had. I used to live nearby and frequented the restaurant often. Every visit, the food was consistently fresh and flavorful. Tara Indian offers good sized portions, and they are generous with the meat and potatoes, unlike many other Indian restaurants I've tried. Even after moving out of state, I haven't found anything that compares. I miss dining here and eagerly anticipate my next visit to SF.

My experience at Tara Indian Cuisine was the best I have tried! The people were super friendly and fun, and the food was amazing. My personal favorite on the menu is the kheer. It wasn't crowded, and the portions were amazing. I had an amazing experience both eating in person and ordering to go. I highly recommend 🤩.

My experience at the restaurant was fantastic. The Chicken Tikka Masala was great, and the mango lassi was the perfect way to end the meal. I will definitely be back.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic, especially the food. I was initially unsure about the tandoori salmon, but it turned out to be the best tandoori salmon ever. In fact, it was some of the best Indian food I've ever had. I ordered the mixed tandoori sampler plate, which arrived sizzling and steaming. While the chicken and lamb were good, the salmon was truly outstanding. I would return just for the tandoori salmon. I also enjoyed the chicken tikka masala and chicken korma, both of which were delicious. We opted for medium spicy, and it was perfect. The garlic naan and basmati rice were unremarkable. Overall, it's worth a try for the fantastic food at a reasonably priced meal.

This is my go-to for Indian food in SF. I've had the best chili chicken, tikka masala, and chicken 65 that I’ve experienced in the city. The prices are reasonable, and the staff are consistently nice and remember you over time.

My experience involved receiving awfully dry and bland chicken biryani and samosas. To make matters worse, the mango lassi seemed spoiled; it was extremely sour and fizzy with a bad smell and texture. When I called to inquire, the person on the phone stated this was normal. If it's not spoiled, it's certainly not good.

I was looking for something handheld while walking and decided to try this place. I ended up getting 2 samosas and 2 massive pieces of the Chicken Naan for about $12. Each order comes with two pieces, which is a great deal. The food was fantastic and the price was very low. I will definitely be back!

I've been ordering take out from Tara for nearly a decade. My experience has been consistently positive, with the food being reliably delicious and affordable. The food quality is excellent, and the price is very reasonable for the quality received.

My initial experience ordering dessert from this restaurant was mixed. I tried the Kheer Rice Pudding, which was borderline about to be unusable. The Gulab Jamun wasn't the best, but it had an aftertaste that made me eat it even though I didn't really like it. Despite these issues, I felt the restaurant deserved another chance as the food appeared to have potential if prepared correctly. UPDATE: I tried this restaurant again, and everything was good. I would definitely recommend trying it, as I thought before.
