Amazing Value and Friendly Service
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The food was amazing value for SF. We opted for the set for 2, which included full-sized curries, an appetizer, rice, naan, and dessert, all for a total of $53.
Beyond the excellent food and price, the service was super friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place!

Disappointing Indian Cuisine Experience
We visited this restaurant hoping for a great meal due to its high ratings, but we were thoroughly disappointed with both the food and the ambience. The cuisine was far from authentic Indian; it leaned more towards Nepalese. The veg chilli momos were mediocre, and the lamb dish was problematic, being half-cooked and unchewable.
Even after returning it to the kitchen for recooking, the result was no better. The Paneer tikka masala was also a letdown, with the paneer being tough and ordinary tasting. What was particularly surprising was the staff's attitude; they were chatting amongst themselves a bit too loudly, which detracted from the desired decorum.
While enjoying work is fine, more mindfulness towards customers is needed. As a gesture to make up for the experience, the lady staff offered complimentary Gulab Jamun, which was appreciated, but it couldn't salvage our overall negative experience.

Disappointing for a 4.8 Star Rating
My experience at this restaurant was not bad, but it was definitely a bit disappointing, especially considering its 4. 8-star rating on Google. I expected the food to be much better.
There were a few issues: the mango lassi was very sweet, overly orange, and seemed store-bought as it was poured from a gallon milk jug. The vegetable momo arrived torn with some missing bottoms. Additionally, the chicken tikka masala lacked flavor and spice.
While nothing was gross, the overall experience did not live up to the high rating.

Spicy Food, Slow Service
My experience at the restaurant was centered around the awesome food. They genuinely make dishes actually spicy if you ask, and the lamb pieces were good. While the service was a little bit slow, the quality of the food made it worth the wait.

Excellent Food, Friendly Service, Cozy Spot
What was your experience at the restaurant? My experience was overwhelmingly positive. The atmosphere was pleasant, though it's a rather small place, so you'd be lucky to get a seat without a reservation.
The staff were super friendly, and the food was truly excellent. I would recommend the Vegetarian Soup. It's one of the best restaurants in the city and really affordable.
