How are the prices at Pinoy's Place?

You’re looking at roughly 26 per person – reported by 10 diners. That puts it in the $21–$30 category. For a Filipino Restaurant, it’s comfortably mid-range: not a steal, but not bank-breaking either.

While the average sits at 26, most guests actually spend a bit less, often in the $11–$20 range. There’s also a premium experience that pulls that average up!

Overall, we think the pricing here feels pretty fair for a Filipino spot in San Francisco. You can definitely find good value, and there’s an option for a more indulgent meal too.

Best Filipino Food in the City!
Man, I am beyond grateful to the universal powers that Clement St/Richmond Avenues finally got some Filipino food, and my oh my, it's the best in the city! I've been living in the Inner Richmond for a decade, hoping for authentic Filipino food to make its way here. Now, they're in none other than the iconic Neck of the Woods. They're new to Clement St but not new to cooking up the FIRE. Recipes are fresh made to order and easily the best pancit, fusion tacos, and silog plates I've had. Thank you to Jakeh and team for making up some incredible food on top of the best vibes and happy hour (50% off) at Neck of the Woods. I will be coming and ordering from here. A lot and get the Caldereta Birria tacos. INSANE!

Late Night Filipino Gem
I tried Pinoy's Place near my house, which offers late-night Filipino options. It's run by Kusina Ni Javen Jessel, a cooking duo that has primarily focused on catering. The menu features primarily silog dishes (garlic fried rice with egg, vinegar sauce, and your choice of meat), with about ten options. An incredibly tasty complimentary broth helped us pass the time while our entrees cooked. Since it's not a busy spot, everything is cooked to order. Ben had beef (tapsilog) and I had sausage (longganisilog). I asked for the spicy option but received the sweet one instead, which was still tasty! The prices are good for a fair bit of meat. Definitely add the vinegar sauce to the rice for some extra flavor. Bonus points for a refreshing calamansi juice, too. It's nice to have another option for dining after 10 pm when everything but chains has closed in the 'burbs. I'm hopeful I can try some of their trademark dishes in the future, like bone marrow tacos and a buko pandan dessert cup. But I think it's definitely a spot where you have to take what you can get at that time of night! 😆

Misleading Hours, Empty Store
My experience was very misleading. I drove to the store, but the doors were closed. I tried calling the phone number, and all I got was voicemail. The store was empty, but the lights were on. Google Maps indicated it was open until 12 midnight.

Fantastic 50th Birthday Celebration!
I celebrated my 50th Birthday party at this restaurant on November 24th with over 100 guests. I was very satisfied with the service and did not regret spending my money and trusting Joanne and Jake to host my party. The accommodation, food, decorations, and the hospitality of the whole crew were above and beyond. Thank you so much; we really had a blast. The service was 10/10 guaranteed.

Favorite Filipino Food Spot!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I love the Filipino food here. The service was excellent, and the environment was nice. Everything is made to order, and I particularly enjoyed the tocino and tapsilog with Java rice and fried eggs. The lumpia were crispy and flavorful, with a dipping sauce that completed them perfectly. I eat here at least 2-3 times per month and highly recommend trying the desserts.
