I highly recommend Bar Iris! My experience was excellent, particularly the service and ambiance, which were both top-notch. The drinks were absolutely phenomenal. While they were on the steeper side price-wise, the quality was evident from the first sip, making it easy to understand the cost.

My experience at this restaurant was outstanding, hands down. The cocktails are the best I've had in SF and definitely among the best in America. I loved the beautifully curated menu and what it had to offer. The menu is heavily influenced by Japanese ingredients, offering a very unique selection. The cocktails were extremely well-balanced in terms of flavors, aroma, and umami. A sip of 'The friend of a friend of a friend' was akin to eating a bag of toasted chips, with its long, lingering smoked aroma – it was insanely good. I will definitely go back for the Japanese bites or even the Kaisei don.

A special thank you to our waiter, Helen, who was incredibly kind and attentive. She took the time to patiently explain the menu and give great recommendations, which really made our experience even better. I can’t wait to come back!

My specific drink was too sour and lacked flavor; it seemed to be made from two pre-made bottles mixed with ice. Given this experience, I will not come back.

My experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing. The skewers we ordered were excessively salty, which was a letdown. More concerning was the attitude of one staff member. We were asked to leave while chatting at the bar after finishing our meal, with the staff member citing a non-existent line. There was no line, and no one took our spots after we left, making it clear we were asked to leave without a valid reason. This left us feeling rushed and disrespected. I personally would not return.
