My experience at this restaurant was centered around a strong desire for a specific dish: Mar Far chicken. If you guys ever serve Mar Far chicken, I will come several times a week! It's hard finding a restaurant that serves this. It costs no more and kids can order it too!

My experience at this restaurant was great. It's a perfect no-frills establishment where the food and service are excellent. While walking to the bathroom through the kitchen, I noticed the cook had a cigarette hanging out of his mouth, but I wouldn't let that deter you from enjoying the great food and service.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! It's an authentic Chinese cuisine spot that offers great value for money. We used to frequent this place when we lived in the area, and after a few years away, I'm happy to report the food tastes exactly the same! Their consistency is truly commendable. This family-run establishment is perfect for satisfying your usual Chinese cravings, but it also shines with unique dishes for special occasions, like their Peking duck. I particularly enjoyed their deep fried flounder. I highly recommend this place!

My experience at the restaurant was a great filling lunch. I enjoyed the Won Ton soup, chicken salad, and lettuce wraps, along with my tea. It was good value, and the place got very busy. Yum.

My experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing, particularly with their sweet and sour dishes. The sweet and sour pork I ordered seemed to be leftovers from their lunch special that morning. They attempted to recook it, but it made no difference. The breading was soggy and the chicken tasted extremely tough. Months later, I decided to give them another try and ordered the sweet and sour chicken, but it was the same issue: recooked, greasy, soggy breaded chicken drenched in excessive sweet and sour sauce. I will never go to this place again.

On an Indigenous holiday, I visited this restaurant and ordered the curry pork chow fun. The dish was a brown color, which immediately struck me as off, as curry should be yellow. The sauce was nothing like it was five years ago; it tasted as bad as a friend's curry that I always discard. There wasn't enough chow fun, and it wasn't balanced with the amount of pork. My partner's minced beef was too salty and very dry, with no sauce. The spinach was so chewy that I had to spit it out, fearing it would block my windpipe. Our friend ordered a takeout chow fun with ginger for his wife, but upon arriving home, there was no ginger in the box. The place itself is filthy. I sat against the wall and saw an ant crawling, and the edge of the wall was covered in dirt, with a dirty carpet. They desperately need a thorough cleaning. My friend was taken aback when the waiter presented a device for tipping, and he was confused by the lack of an "other" option, regretting giving too much. The waiter didn't check on us, and we had to ask for more napkins as ours were soaked with curry sauce. I know Empero Taste serves decent "yellow" curry chow fun. NO restaurant could be worse than this place! The ownership has changed, and the cook is clearly not the same as five years ago. The glory days are over. I will never return. There are many good Chinese restaurants in the city; don't waste your money here, you'll be disappointed!

Compared to other locations in San Francisco, CA, this restaurant offers decant price and quality. I would suggest Golden Horse restaurant to friends 👍.

I can't believe we paid $90 for a party of 4. The food tasted and looked old. I ordered soup that came with all the meats, including wontons. It was terrible. The pork tasted old, the chicken didn't look like chicken, and the wontons obviously tasted old. NEVER AGAIN. This place shouldn't even be able to stay in business; that's how bad that ish was.
