Authentic Shanghai Dumplings Rivaled!
Having grown up in Shanghai for 17 years, I can confidently say the dumplings here rival, if not surpass, the ones I had there. It was an amazing experience.

Enjoyable Food, Great Vibe
My experience at this restaurant was thoroughly enjoyable, despite bordering on pricey. The XLB were bigger than I expected, and the food was delicious. The vibe was really nice, and we experienced no wait on a Wednesday night, even though the place was still crowded.
The service and food were both rated a perfect 5, contributing to a great atmosphere.

Delicious Dumplings and Great Service
I stopped in for lunch while in the City, drawn by the restaurant's good reviews and our craving for dumplings. We were not disappointed! The service was great, and the menu was easy to read and make choices.
We appreciated the flexibility to order 4 or 8 dumplings and the choice between steamed or pan-fried. The bao arrived steaming hot in a basket. It was excellent food!
We will definitely be back next time we are in the Bay Area.

Top-Tier Food and Atmosphere
My experience at this restaurant was pretty much flawless. While I've had better tasting xiao long bao and dumplings, the ones here are well-made and still top tier. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was also a perfect 5/5.
It's a great place for dinner, with a price point of $20–30 per person and no wait time.

Delicious Bao and Dumplings!
We dined in for a late lunch as a family of three. The Yelp waitlist indicated a 10-20 minute wait, and we were surprised to receive a text 5 minutes later. The food came out hot and fresh.
We ordered the Juicy Pork Bao, Pork Xiao Long Bao, Zha Jiang House Special Bean Paste with Mince Pork, Boiled Pork and Chive Dumplings, and Fried Tofu. While there is no separate kids menu, our thirteen-month-old loved his food so much that he stayed in his high chair for the duration of the meal. Highly recommend!

Incredible Flavors and Generous Portions!
I was absolutely blown away by the flavors at this restaurant! The pan-fried pork bao and beef bao were incredible and a total must-try. They were also much bigger than bao I've had elsewhere.
The cucumber salad was fresh and delicious. They served a big pot of tea, which was perfect for sharing. Honestly, it was one of the tastiest dinners we've had in a while, and we'll definitely be coming back again and again!
The staff was also really nice and friendly!
