Hidden Gem with Delicious Veggie Options
We accidentally found this place on Ocean Ave. It has a different name out front and kind of looks like a Chinese restaurant from decades ago. But the woman working there was friendly (she's been at it since 1985) and it's veg-friendly, so I gave it a go.
The food was served fast and hot, the portions were huge (we took home for another meal), and it was delicious (kung pao tofu and friend green beans). I'm eager to go back to try more veg dishes!

Delicious Variety and Friendly Owners!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! They offer a huge variety on the menu, and the basics, along with my personal favorites like BBQ Pork Fried Rice, BBQ Pork Chow Mein, Broccoli Beef, and an incredible soup (whose name I unfortunately forget), were all delicious and well made. The portions are very generous, and the couple who own the place are incredibly friendly.
I'm really looking forward to trying out more of their menu items. I highly recommend this place if you're in this part of the neighborhood.

Generations of Delicious Chinese Food
My experience at this restaurant has been a long-standing tradition, spanning 35 years. I've been coming here since I was a little girl with my great grandma. It's the best mom and pops Chinese food in the city.
They've been open for 35 years, and I remember when their parents ran the restaurant. The food is consistently the freshest and the best. Thank you mama and chief.

Terrible Service, Long Wait
My experience at this restaurant was incredibly frustrating. It took an excessive amount of time, involving three staff members, just to order a simple plate of veggie potstickers. What was initially quoted as a 10 to 15-minute wait turned into a half-hour ordeal.
At the 20-minute mark, I was told it would only be two more minutes. I had already ordered my Uber by then, and when my ride arrived 10 minutes later, my food still wasn't ready. I left feeling pissed and hungry.
I would advise others not to waste their time. It seems like only Chinese speakers are understood here, as if you have to speak Chinese for them to comprehend your order.
