My experience at this restaurant was marked by attentive and friendly staff who provided excellent service, earning a perfect 5/5. The atmosphere was quaint, also rated a 5/5, creating a pleasant dining environment. However, the food experience was somewhat inconsistent. While the Mongolian beef and vegetable egg rolls were highly recommended and enjoyed, there was an expectation for food to be served more consistently for a group of 9+ people, so everyone could enjoy their entrees and sides together. The food quality was rated a 4/5 overall.

My experience at 606 was fantastic! It's a locals corner that's also super tourist friendly. The food is delicious, and they have a fun secret "other menu" with incredible classics. I especially loved the XLB, which had a distinct, subtle, yet impactful flavor. The salt and pepper soft shell crab was also so good. Whether it's a small weekday dinner or when visitors come to town, 606 is always a great option. Omnomnom!

Our family reunion experience at this restaurant was absolutely perfect. The staff was incredibly attentive, and the service was excellent. Everyone had a wonderful time. The food was delicious—authentic, flavorful, and served hot. It's a great local spot, not touristy at all. Come for the great food, friendly service, and eat like the locals do!

My wife and I often walk by this restaurant, perfectly situated between Chinatown and Little Italy (North Beach), making it easily accessible from either direction. We initially stopped by for a quick bite months ago and enjoyed some dumplings. We were so impressed that we returned with family for a full lunch! I have to say, this is now my new go-to Chinese restaurant. The variety of options is great, and the bright interior with big windows offers a full experience of SF's vibrancy. The food was fresh and flavorful! Be sure to ask for the hot sauce if you like spicy. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners, and Eugene was great. I love when owners take the time to meet their customers; it truly feels like home. I didn't get a chance to take pictures this time, but I'll definitely be back to do so!

I've dined here four times and it has become my primary option to bring friends to when they are in town. There are some really consistent factors: hk milk tea, dry fried beef ho fun, and honey walnut prawns have never let me down. The milk tea is strong and has a big ice cube that keeps it from watering down during the meal. The ho fun has the smoky wok quality essential to the dish. The honey walnut prawns have a great ratio of meat to batter, with really great flavor too. Unfortunately, I do feel the seasoning of some dishes has been inconsistent, making it hard to know if I'll come on a good day or not. The crispy hk noodles were amazing the first time I had them, but too salty the next. The same goes for the salt and pepper fried fish and fried tofu. Those side dishes being on the saltier side could be balanced with white rice, but the crispy noodles were really disappointing that second time around. I asked the server if it could be remade, but it seems the sauce is batched for service. She offered some alternative dishes, but we already had our minds set on it. That was very nice of her though! :) Fingers crossed they can solidify their quality assurance process because I do love taking friends here and want them to have a great experience every time too! Service has been great every time.

My cousin and I planned the event with the owners, Eugene and Alvin Lau, who were incredibly accommodating throughout the planning process. Upon arrival, guests were welcomed, and three hours later, no one wanted to leave. The food was simply delicious, with every dish bursting with flavor, beautifully prepared, and served fresh and hot. They also offer a selection of Asian desserts and an excellent range of beer and wine. The staff were exceptionally professional and attentive, ensuring our table was well-cared for without being intrusive. Their menu knowledge and warm hospitality added a personal touch that enhanced the evening. The newly remodeled space is stunning, with a décor that perfectly balances modern elegance and traditional charm, creating an inviting and sophisticated atmosphere. This ambiance truly enhanced the dining experience, making it feel just right for both casual meals and special occasions.
