Disappointing Service Despite Okay Food
I've visited this restaurant many times before, but yesterday's experience will be my last. While the foods were acceptable, the services and wait times were a significant issue, ranging from tolerable to downright horrible, especially when interacting with the lady owner. I called at 11: 40 am for a takeout roast pork on rice, and was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. Upon arrival at 11: 56 am, I inquired about my order and was initially asked to wait. I suspected my order might have been forgotten, as had happened before. Despite the restaurant not being busy on a Saturday with multiple staff members visible, I was largely ignored. It wasn't until 12: 08 pm that the lady owner finally acknowledged me. When I mentioned I had been waiting for the roast pork on rice, she simply grabbed the order from a table, I paid, and left. What truly upset me was discovering my order was ready before I even arrived, and the restaurant was not busy at that time. I cannot comprehend why it took 12 minutes for the owner to acknowledge me. The only reason I waited was that the order was for someone else.

Mixed Feelings: Good Duck, Awful Soup
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. I found the hot and sour soup to be awful, tasting like dirty water with no vinegar or flavor – truly the worst we've ever had. However, the duck was good. The salt and pepper fish and honey walnut shrimp were both mediocre. The chicken and salted fish fried rice was decent. Given the significant disappointment with the soup, I would suggest going elsewhere.

Frustrating Lunch with Poor Service
I hate to write a bad review, especially given the challenges restaurants have faced, but my lunch experience here with my parents and aunt left me feeling very upset and angry. We were initially pleased with the complimentary tea, but then faced a significant wait for our food, with nothing arriving for 20 minutes until we complained. We were told the medium clay pot would take at least 30 minutes, a detail not mentioned when ordering or on the menu. When other dishes finally arrived, the beef rice rolls were tasty but not as expected, being skinny rather than the expected dim sum style. The cauliflowers with pork belly were overly salty. The clay pot, when it eventually came, had hard rice and undercooked chicken, indicated by redness. After complaining again, the waitress took it back to cook longer without an apology. While it was eventually yummy, the entire experience took 1 hour and 45 minutes. The menu should clearly state that the medium clay pot can take up to 45 minutes. The service was further marred by the waitress complaining about a 10% tip. The open door, likely for COVID precautions, allowed smoking outside, and our complaints about the smell were ignored. The only positive was the accessibility of the two first-floor restrooms for my aunt in a wheelchair.

Delicious Chinese Food, Great Value!
We absolutely loved 💕😘 the food! We ordered the Braise Tofu and Porridge Soup, which were both delicious. The portion of the food was pretty decent, and the prices were affordable and reasonable. We only paid $20. 50. We'll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone who loves 💕😘 Chinese foods! They have a quite of selections of foods to choose from!

Excellent Wonton Soup and Fried Rice!
My husband and I shared a bowl of wonton soup and a plate of special fried rice. Both were excellent, and the price was reasonable.

Unexpectedly Good Lunch Experience
Today's experience at the restaurant was a pleasant surprise. Although I didn't initially get the food I wanted, the outcome was "not too bad. " I enjoyed a bowl of soup and some duck, and the "quick service" was a definite plus. The atmosphere was also rated highly.

Good Hole-in-the-Wall Chinese
My experience at this typical hole-in-the-wall Chinese place on Mission St. was positive. The food was good, and I particularly enjoyed their Chow mein, Chow fun, and chicken with salty fish fried rice. The order of their roast pork was also tasty.

Dishonest Pricing for Roast Pork
My experience at this restaurant was very disappointing due to dishonesty regarding pricing. I specifically asked for roast pork belly, but I was given regular roast pork instead. To make matters worse, I was charged the higher price for roast pork belly, which is a difference of $3 per pound. This practice is unbelievable, and I will not be returning.

Menu Price Discrepancy and Poor Service
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing due to a significant issue with pricing and service. I ordered from the menu, but was charged a higher price. When I questioned this, the staff member insisted the prices were 'almost current' and refused to honor the menu price, which was not updated. This lack of transparency and refusal to acknowledge the written menu was frustrating.

Terrible Party Wings Experience
My experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. I ordered a tray of party wings for my son's birthday, and what we received was unacceptable. The wings were black, indicating they were fried in very used old oil. They were also soggy and tasted like old grease that had been used for weeks, if not months. I highly do not recommend this place for catering or for dining in. It's important to always check your food, as these culprits seem to think they can get away with serving subpar quality. You shouldn't mess with people's food, or bad things will be said about your measly restaurant.
