A Delicious San Francisco Classic
I've been coming here for about five years, and every time I've eaten the food, it's still delicious. The service is great, the space is clean, and the ambience is pretty. I love the simple decor.
This is truly a great classic in San Francisco. Today, I had General Tso's chicken, sesame beef, and egg fried rice; all three dishes were delicious. I highly recommend coming here.

Disappointing Experience, Burned Food
I went based on the reviews, but it was a total disappointment. I ordered some empanadas and they were burned. The rice was like paste and tasteless.
The shrimp were super sweet and oily. The only thing that was saved was the waitress, who was very attentive. I will not return.

Favorite Hot and Sour Soup!
My experience at this restaurant was centered around their hot and sour soup. I was on a quest to find the best in the city, having tried several options. This soup is my absolute favorite!
The broth is yummy, it has fun, funky mushrooms, and a great ratio of ingredients to broth.

Eric's: Consistently Excellent Chinese Cuisine
I've been a loyal customer at Eric's since it first opened in the early '90s. It's the benchmark by which I measure all other neighborhood Chinese restaurants, and very few have come close. The General Cho's Chicken is by far my favorite I've ever had, and the Szechuan Beef is equally exceptional.
This is truly one of my all-time favorite Chinese restaurants. I also highly recommend the Hoisin String Beans and Eric's Spicy Eggplant, both of which are quite good. The Crab Rangoon and Pork Potstickers are also favorites, and the Green Onion Pancakes are excellent.
Honestly, I've never had anything less than a fantastic meal here. Please note, the pricing mentioned reflects a meal for two children without beverages.

Hot, Fresh Food at a Good SF Price
My experience at this restaurant was very good overall. Everything we ordered was served very hot and fresh. The pricing was also reasonable, especially considering it's in San Francisco.
The vegetarian options were plentiful, and the service and atmosphere were excellent.

Too Much Oil, No Flavor
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The food had no flavor at all, and everything was overwhelmed with oil. The eggrolls were particularly oily.
While the Mongolian beef had the best flavor, it was also excessively oily. The kitchen was not kept clean. I won’t be back here!

Great Food, Dangerous Proximity!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic, primarily due to the great food. I found myself wishing I didn't live so close anymore, as the temptation to eat there three times a week was very strong. The food quality was excellent, and the overall experience was highly positive.

Average food, forgotten rice, sticky floor
My experience at the restaurant was extremely average. The food was rated a 3 out of 5. They forgot to add the white rice I paid for, which was a service issue.
Additionally, the floor was quite sticky when I went to pick up my order, impacting the atmosphere.
