Unwelcoming Experience, Despite Good Food
My experience at this establishment was far from a win-win situation; it felt like a loss if you're not Asian. While they do have good food, like the duck displayed in their window, the overall experience was negative. Upon entering, I was ignored by both staff and customers. Every sign was in Chinese, making it impossible to order anything. When I asked "how much for duck, " the response was "no English! " It was an in-and-out visit for me, and I won't be trying to order online delivery either.

Excellent Duck and Wonton Soup
My experience at this local wonton restaurant was fantastic! I highly recommend their roasted duck bottom quarter and the wonton soup (without noodles). The service was also great, contributing to a wonderful dining experience.

Delicious Chinese BBQ Near the Beach
My experience at this restaurant was very positive. I enjoyed the yummy Chinese BBQ, roast duck, and white cut chicken. The restaurant is conveniently located close to Ocean Beach and the Zoo, making it a great spot for tourists. The atmosphere and service were both rated a 4 out of 5, and the noise level was quiet, allowing for easy conversation. The food also received a 4 out of 5 rating.

Mixed Feelings on Char Siu, Good Siu Yok
My experience at the restaurant was mixed. While the siu yok was good, the cha siu was really tough, with no fat at all and hard as bone. I paid $47 for a box of siu yok, cha siu, and chicken.

Okay Hong Kong BBQ, Long Delivery
I discovered this restaurant on DoorDash and decided to try their Hong Kong style barbecue. Although the delivery took a bit longer than expected, I'm a patient person and it didn't bother me. The food itself was okay, but I believe it could be improved. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a quick bite, and I might return to try other items on the menu.

Good Fried Rice, Okay Noodles
My experience at this restaurant was mixed. The fried rice (chicken) was really good, and they also have wings which were pretty good too. The food is simple but still good. However, I didn't like their noodle dishes. The service was okay, not great, and there was a wait time. Prices are okay. Finding parking can be difficult sometimes.

Consistent Great Food and Service
My experience at this restaurant has been consistently positive over the past 15-20 years. We visited on New Year's Day and were met with very friendly staff, as is always the case. The food is always great, and I particularly recommend the Roast Duck and Pork. The service and atmosphere are top-notch, receiving a 5/5 rating for both. It's a reliable choice for lunch.

Delicious Chinese BBQ in Sunset
I absolutely love this place for its Chinese BBQs. My experience was fantastic, especially with the BBQ ducks. It's located a little further down the avenues in the sunset area. The recommended dishes were BBQ Pork and Roast Pork over Rice. The food quality was rated a 5, and the atmosphere a 4. Service was also rated a 4. The meal was for lunch, and the price per person was between $10–20.

Disappointing Experience with Price and Service
I would advise against coming here and suggest spending your money elsewhere. My experience involved a small wonton noodle soup, egg rolls, and porridge, which turned out to be expensive. The most unpleasant part was the server's insistence on a tip, treating it as mandatory rather than based on service. I might have tipped more if she hadn't been so quick to demand it, especially as I was trying to pay while waiting for my son to finish.

Delicious Soy Sauce Chicken and Friendly Service!
This is a small restaurant located on Taravel in the outer sunset. It was my first time eating here, and it definitely won't be my last! The service was great and friendly. We ordered a bunch of different dishes, and my favorite was their soy sauce chicken. I absolutely loved the saltiness of it. They also offer some pre-made Asian savory snacks to go, including duck, cha siu, and chicken. My family didn't realize they close at 6: 30 PM and we arrived at 6 PM. Despite this, they were very friendly the entire time, and we were the last table to leave. My family found it a bit odd that some workers were cleaning up and leaving, not realizing it was because they were actually closing. We thanked everyone at the end, and the person chopping the meats at the front was so kind; they actually thanked us for coming to support their business 🥺. It was such a cute and wholesome moment. Overall, a fantastic experience!
