Day-old chicken wings served in the morning
I would advise against visiting this restaurant before 11 am. My experience involved purchasing salt and pepper chicken wings, only to discover upon returning home that they were stale, day-old leftovers from the previous night. It appears they reheated unsold chicken wings from the night before and served them in the morning.

Long-time Favorite Chinese Takeout
My experience at this restaurant has been consistently excellent for over 30 years. The workers are very nice, and the Chinese style food is outstanding. What's even better is the good price.
It's a place where locals go, and it remains the same great spot it has always been. It's important to note that it's take out only, with no tables available.

Chinatown Dim Sum Gem
My experience at Gourmet Delight was great. This cute little shop specializes in delicious plates of dim sum, noodles, and roast duck. It's clearly a popular spot with so many locals.
We walked in to check out the place while exploring Chinatown in downtown San Francisco. The process was easy: point at the food, order, pay, and leave.

Disappointing Roast Duck Experience
Please for the love of god do not get your roast duck here. The owner did not wash his hands after handling money and the duck was so greasy. Get your roast duck from Duk Hing.
I wanted to go there but it was closed early. Lesson learned 😭

Good Value Roast Duck, A Bit Greasy
My experience at the restaurant was decent. The roast duck was a bit on the greasier side, but the value is pretty good. Overall, it was a satisfactory lunch experience.

Terrible Meat Quality and Value
My experience at the restaurant was extremely disappointing, particularly with the food quality. They intentionally gave me the worst pieces of meat. I literally saw the staff cutting off ends from various pieces to cobble together my meal.
Each cut was either hard/unchewable or just pure fat. All of this amounted to a terrible experience for the $60 I spent.

Terrible Chinese Food Experience
My experience at Xin Kai Feng Gourmet Delight BBQ was likely one of the worst Chinese restaurant/take out experiences in San Francisco's Chinatown. We ordered three dishes and one rice, totaling $52. The noodles and eggplants were cold, suggesting they might have been leftovers from the previous night.
The food tasted very bland, as if it were just steamed and blended, not cooked by a chef on a wok. The store's interior was also not clean. If you value your money and your stomach, and are hoping for decent Chinese food, please avoid this place at all costs.

Best Chinese BBQ Ever!
My experience at this restaurant was outstanding. I hands down consider it one of the best Chinese BBQ places I've ever had. The moment I tasted the char siu, I instantly regretted not ordering more than a pound.
Their roast duck was also incredibly delicious. The staff was exceptionally nice and showed great kindness towards our children.

Incredible Value for Delicious Food!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic, offering incredible value that felt like a steal. For just $8, I received a generous combo including chow mein, fried rice, and two other items. The food was well worth the price, and I'm definitely planning on coming back.
