D&N Hot Wings - Reviews

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I've had their wings a dozen times and only recently discovered they are also gluten free and dairy free, along with all the sauces. I honestly wouldn't have been able to tell the difference. The chicken is incredibly juicy, perfectly crispy, and the owner is an absolute sweetheart. His passion for his food and the reasons behind creating this place are truly inspiring. It's the best restaurant in the neighborhood!

My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The food was good, earning a 4 out of 5. However, the overall experience was significantly marred by the man in the front, who was very disrespectful. This negative interaction ruined the experience for me and my friends.

My first experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I was impressed by the quality and service. You can tell there’s a lot of pride and care put into the recipes. I’m definitely thrilled to support a local shop that is excellent at what they do. The ghost pepper flavours are insane haha. I loved the lemon pepper dry rub! The batter to actual chicken ratio is great, meaning you are actually getting good protein macros.

This place is awesome! They totally caught that my fiancée has celiac and, without us even saying anything, switched gloves and made sure everything was safe. Major points for that! The wings were very tasty and had a perfect crisp to them. Already counting down the days till we’re back.

I was planning to get wings and beer for dine-in here. However, I had to leave because they don't have a bathroom for customers. It's quite surprising that a place selling beer doesn't have a restroom, especially since beer makes you need to go. Their only suggestion was to use the coffee shop around the corner, which requires purchasing something to use their facilities. This was not a pleasant experience. It's also noted that they have their own private bathroom. I'd recommend going to the other wing spot on the next block instead.

Initially, the unremarkable exterior, resembling a fast-casual chain like Chipotle, made me hesitant. However, upon entering, we were warmly greeted by the owner, who guided us through the menu with infectious passion. While they offer spicy options, the owner himself was the most 'spicy' and entertaining presence in the store. His enthusiasm for wings was palpable, and after the first bite, I was eager to try everything else on the menu. It was an incredible experience, and we are definitely planning a return visit!
