Lovely Atmosphere, Mediocre Food
I visited for brunch one Saturday morning and found the place to be lovely, offering both indoor and limited outdoor seating. I made a reservation in advance to secure outdoor seating. The service was excellent, with very attentive staff. However, the food was mediocre. My friend and I tried the eggs benedict; while the eggs were cooked well, the hollandaise sauce lacked flavor and depth. The side of potatoes was very good! The atmosphere was lovely.

Amazing Brunch and Profiteroles!
My experience at this restaurant was a lovely brunch. The food received 5 stars, with a special mention for the profiteroles, which were described as the best we’ve had in SF.

Cache: An Elevated Dining Gem
Our family of six recently dined at Cache in San Francisco, and it was an experience to remember from start to finish. We decided to go family-style, which turned out to be the perfect way to explore the incredible range of flavors this restaurant offers. The staff were exceptional—warm, friendly, and impressively knowledgeable, especially about wine pairings. Their recommendations elevated the meal beautifully. We also appreciated that the head chef personally stopped by a couple of times during the evening to check in with guests—a thoughtful touch that made the evening even more special. We began with the cheese board, Sea Bream Sashimi, and mushroom lobster, each dish presented with finesse and bursting with flavor. For the vegetarian mains, the ratatouille was easily one of the best we’ve ever had—rich, balanced, and deeply comforting, while the green pea soup with feta garnish was absolutely eclectic and refreshing. The meat lovers in our group went for the steak, which was cooked to perfection and quickly disappeared from the table! We couldn’t resist sampling one of each dessert, and each was unique and delicious in its own right. But the standout was the buckwheat maple syrup tart—a one-of-a-kind creation that was the perfect sweet ending to a flawless meal. Cache is the kind of restaurant that reminds you why dining out can be such a joy—thoughtful service, imaginative food, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an elevated yet personal dining experience in San Francisco.

Fantastic Lunch with Delicious Crepes
My experience at this new spot on 9th was fantastic for lunch. I loved the decor and found the staff to be attentive and helpful. We tried the lobster roll, which featured succulent lobster on a great roll, served generously with salad and potatoes. We also enjoyed the duck buckwheat crepe with delicious onions, mushrooms, and cheese, as well as a salmon crepe that was equally tasty. The menu offers many other great choices that we must return to try.

Exceptional Dining Experience at Caché
My experience at Caché in San Francisco was absolutely outstanding. Every dish was a testament to thoughtful ingredients and beautiful flavor combinations. The dessert was particularly memorable, one of the most creative and delicious I've had in a long time. The wine list is also noteworthy, featuring unique and hard-to-find bottles that perfectly complement the menu. The service was warm and attentive, significantly enhancing the overall enjoyment of the evening. I highly recommend Caché for a memorable dining experience in the city. Merci pour cette expérience!

Disappointing Experience, Overpriced and Bland
My experience at this restaurant was disappointingly mid. I try to support innovative restaurants in San Francisco, but this is the kind of place that makes me want to move back to New York. The Lobster was flat and bland, tasting old. The Sashimi had shock value on looks but lacked flavor. The Quinoa was a slop bowl with no texture. Overall, it was expensive and nicely presented, but nothing tasted good.

Amazing Seafood, Solid Bistro Fare
Our large group ordered extensively from the menu, and the fish sashimi was an absolute MUST. All of their seafood appetizers were amazing. I also really enjoyed the pea soup and the sourdough. While the mains and desserts were less stunning, this is a common issue for bistros. The restaurant boasts a great selection of wine; I recommend asking the server for recommendations. Overall, a fantastic experience with excellent service and atmosphere.

Cache: Elegant, Delicious, and Comforting
My experience at Cache was truly exceptional. The space itself is beautiful and light, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The proprietors made me feel genuinely at home, and the servers were incredibly attentive. The food was nothing short of incredible. Unlike many places where dishes don't live up to their descriptions, Cache's menu promises elegance and deliciousness, and the food over-delivers. It was a perfect blend of beautiful, elegant, and comforting. The dessert, a strawberry and basil creation over meringue, was epic, with bright, fresh basil and the natural sweetness of the berries. Words can't fully capture it; it must be tasted. I highly recommend stopping in for a glass of wine and a bite – you'll be glad you did.
