Inconsistent Ingredients Ruin Good Food
When the food is good, it’s great. However, for at least 5 times ordering their morning crispy chicken salad, there have always been missing ingredients. Sometimes it’s the tomatoes, almost always the cabbage, and most recently, the cheese.
When I call, they mention it was a different person preparing the food and promise that “next time we’ll have all the ingredients in your order. ” There’s no offer to remake the salad, just a vague assurance. I’ve provided this feedback before, both directly and on the order itself, yet the issue persists.
It’s disappointing because I believe their food is a great option, but hopefully, this experience incentivizes them to improve their service when mistakes are made on orders.

Hidden Gem with Huge Portions!
My experience at Tycoon was fantastic! Although it's a bit out-of-the-way, located under the Transit Center, it's a hidden gem that's well worth the trek. The restaurant always has a good crowd, especially during lunchtime, so ordering ahead is recommended if you're on a time crunch.
The portions are huge and can easily provide multiple meals. I particularly enjoyed the pumpkin curry with tofu as a hearty dish and the pad thai with shrimp. For brunch, I tried the avocado & egg sandwich, and the mango mayo on it was super tasty!
The owner is incredibly kind and sweet to all customers, and his joy and positivity are infectious!

Delicious Lunch with Great Service
My first time here for lunch was a very happy experience with both the meal and the service. I appreciated the convenience of ordering at the kiosk, and my food and drink arrived quickly. The salmon was seasoned well and perfectly cooked, not dry at all.
The soup was spicy yet incredibly flavorful. They even cooked the rice perfectly, lol. The coffee was strong but delicious.

Amazing Beef Noodles, Disappointing Shrimp Pad Thai
My experience at this restaurant was a tale of two dishes. The Drunken Noodle Beef was an absolute triumph, a solid 100/10. It was just amazing, truly the best beef noodles I've had in a minute – savory, delicious, and visually appealing.
This dish alone makes the place deserve 5 stars. I had a couple of bites and immediately wanted to share this incredible dish. However, the Shrimp Pad Thai was a stark contrast, a disappointing 2/10.
All I could taste was an overwhelming spice, not a pleasant heat but just a generic spice. The shrimp itself was like shredded chicken and was overcooked to the max. Despite the shrimp pad Thai's shortcomings, the beef noodle dish was so outstanding that it almost made up for it.
The restaurant deserves 5 stars for the beef noodle alone.

Consistent and Delicious Thai Lunch Spot
My experience at Tycoon Kitchen has been consistently positive, making it a go-to for workday lunches. This fast-casual Thai spot, conveniently located on the first floor of Salesforce Tower, excels in both food quality and service efficiency. I'm always impressed by the flavorful food, especially the eggplant and tofu stir-fry, and the generous portion sizes that often provide leftovers.
The staff and owner are incredibly friendly, and they go the extra mile; for example, the owner often offers a free Thai tea or spring rolls if my order takes a bit longer than usual, which I find perfectly reasonable given their busy operation. Ordering is made easy with two kiosks outside or the option to order inside. The food is absolutely delicious, with everything being wonderfully flavorful, even the tofu.
The portions are also quite generous, leaving me with plenty for dinner or an afternoon snack.
