Best Fresh Food on Campus!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I found the best fresh food on campus and was so excited that they are open again. They offer various options to choose from the salad bar, grill, and hot food selections, which change daily.
Some of my favorites include the Philly cheesesteak, the spicy chicken fritter sandwich, the baked chicken legs, lasagna, and chicken florentine. This is definitely the only place I eat. The restaurant is clean, the cook gives generous portions, and the staff are so kind.

Underwhelming Burger and Overpriced Salad Bar
My experience at this restaurant was largely underwhelming. I ordered the classic burger with fries and also tried items from the salad bar. The burger, which I expected to be a basic but satisfying item, was disappointing.
The meat tasted bland, dry, and overcooked, and the large, dry bun did not help. I hope their more complex dishes are better, as this was certainly underwhelming. The salad bar turned out to be quite overpriced.
I wanted to try their various pasta salads, but with the weight-based pricing, a small amount of food cost me $9. I suspect this pricing is intended for customers to add hot protein items like chicken tenders rather than just salads, but I found it too expensive. Additionally, there were no napkins available at the self-service utensil area, which was awkward.
While I might consider returning, for $20, I did not feel the meal was worth the cost.

Mixed Feelings on Reopening
I’m glad they are re-opened again. However, I found the $3 extra for a Beyond burger to be outrageous. They also stopped serving breakfast all day, which I really miss.
I also miss fountain drinks with ice. I would have given 2 stars, but I gave 3 because I like that they have stamp cards now.

Good Value and Variety at SFSU Eatery
My experience at this restaurant, located in the Cesar Chavez Student Center at SFSU, was positive. They offer a reasonably priced self-serve food bar with a large selection, and also made-to-order menu items. While made-to-order items usually take five to ten minutes, my broccoli and cheese baked potato took twelve minutes, but it was a substantial portion.
The self-serve bar is priced by weight at $9. 75/lb, allowing for flexible portion sizes. I found most of the food to be good, and I'm eager to try their reportedly fantastic sandwiches next time.
The service was good, and amenities like utensils, napkins, seating, and restrooms were readily available nearby. Overall, it's a good place to stop for an inexpensive meal.

Sweet Service, Fire Grilled Sandwich!
My experience at this restaurant was marked by super sweet and fast service. I consistently order the omelet, and it's always super good. I recently tried their cheese grilled sandwich, and it was FIRE!
There's also a super attractive worker who consistently does their job right – they really pop off.
